JOB SUMMARY
The Donation Sorter reports to the Community Development Manager, and will help process and count Gift-in-kind. This person will assist with greeting GIK donors and give them a personal tax receipt at the time of drop-off and let donors know how important their tangible items are and make sure they know about a current campaign/volunteer project they can be part of. The Gift-in-kind must be received and sorted, counted and counts put on the inventory sheet that will be entered in the database. This person can also track and enter the data in data base as help is needed.
CORE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet all donors cheerfully and thank them for their donation and tell them how it helps
Give donors their tax receipt and let donors know about the current campaigns
Sort all bric-a-brac, glassware, collectibles, dishes, antiques, small kitchen appliances and clothing.
Enters information on inventory sheet along with GIK slip to be processed
Separates valuables for special pricing and places in the office
Checks conditions of merchandise for damage (chips or cracks) to be either sent to the thrift store or discarded
Maintains a safe, neat, efficient and orderly work and display area
Work alongside Community Development team at either center during events including Holidays that are event days
Assist with all projects assigned by the Community Development Manager for The Caring Place
Will lead and/or participate in devotions, prayers, or other ministry activities ex. outreach events
Must be in agreement with and sign The Caring Place Statement of Faith
Performs other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
1 year of experience as a merchandise sorter in a retail sales environment is preferred
Must be familiar with current styles, trends and prices
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must be able to work in a busy environment, under pressure and process merchandise quickly and accurately
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Job Functions:

Job Functions:
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) will work with the elementary age children in a group setting for CREATE therapeutic programming within the therapeutic afterschool environment serving homeless children and families in our onsite housing programs. The RBT's goal on each team is to implement and monitor group interventions and individual behavioral plans as outlined by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and in conjunction with multiple disciplines to assure a calm and nurturing environment. According to the mission and vision of the organization, the Director of Development- Pinellas, engages and connects the community of donors, volunteers, and fosters partner relationships throughout Pinellas County. Essential Responsibilities:
Demonstrates a passion for the mission, vision, and guiding values of Metropolitan Ministries. Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required and have a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, including a heart for service and comfort working with poor and homeless individuals and families.
Skills Requirements:
Must be able to work effectively with homeless and at-risk clients. This position requires the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary framework; should be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Must be able to communicate orally, as well as in writing, and demonstrate a high level of comfort in this performance, conducting and assisting in the conducting of meetings, etc. Strong interpersonal skills are required. This position requires a high degree of maturity, sensitivity to issues of faith and cross cultural and diversity issues, and the social skill to handle job-related matters in a professional and diplomatic manner.
Physical Requirements:
Must have adequate hearing and speaking ability as to take part in and provide sound oral communication and information. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to transport self when necessary. Must be capable of working outdoors in sunlight and higher temperatures on occasion. Must have the physical, emotional, and spiritual stamina to handle job-related issues and stress.

JOB SUMMARY

Job Functions:
The Outreach Prevention Specialist will ensure that clients are assessed according to the Outreach Policies and Procedures with an additional focus on screening clients in need of Financial Special Assistance, Prevention and Diversions in a timely and efficient manner. We are currently seeking a FT Faith Community Coordinator at The Caring Place locations in Hollywood and Miami, FL
SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM (Some weekends will be required for outreach events)
JOB SUMMARY
The Faith Community Coordinator (FCC) reports to the Director of Community Development and will assist the Community Development Department in the
moves management
process for faith organizations. This process includes contact by phone, email, standard mail, and in person, including visiting churches and being able to speak to congregations about involvement with the Mission. Several weekends the FCC needs to be available to visit churches. The FCC will keep accurate caseload notes and provide reports of activities in a timely and accurate manner. The FCC is responsible for engaging the Faith Community to partner with The Caring Place (TCP) through various campaigns and financial contributions and engage volunteerism through Homeless Ministry Time, Chapel, The Crew, and Bed Prayer Patrol Partners, etc. The FCC will engage the Faith Community to become part of the 2 Fish | 5 Loaves Ministry and also oversee all of the various faith FOCUS groups. The FCC needs to be able to organize breakfasts/luncheons/Night of Joy/ other events for faith partners. Driving/Travel is required within Miami-Dade & Broward Counties to visit in person with faith partners. Must also have a strong walk/testimony of relationship with Jesus Christ and be able to explain the plan of salvation.
DUTIES
Builds a strong faith-based partnership with the faith community
Seeks to expand the faith based community in their connectedness with the Mission
Works with Community Development Associate in “Moves Management” for Faith Partners, providing weekly/daily progress reports and monthly Faith Liaison Outcomes reports, this includes setting and meeting goals/outcomes including financial and Gift-In-Kind plus volunteer times from the faith community
Answers web inquiries from faith-based groups
Maintains a tracking system of all contacts and Gifts-in-Kind donations within the faith-based community using Excel spreadsheet
Oversees luncheons and breakfasts on campuses in Broward and Dade or outside the campus at a desirable location to connect with the faith-based community
Oversees the making of thank-you calls to present faith-based partners and informing them of current campaigns
Oversees making calls to future faith-based supporters in making known the needs of the homeless and the Mission (drives, campaigns and financial needs, Homeless Ministry Time and Chapel, and Faith Focus groups)
Maintains the calendars of faith-based volunteers on campus for Homeless Ministry Time and Chapel activities
Monitors the Chapel volunteer church groups and makes sure they are providing a stimulating chapel service for our new residents and follow the protocol of the Mission
Responsible for receiving all Volunteer Sign-in Sheets from Chapel and Homeless Ministry time and Faith Focus Groups and oversees their input into the database system, and maintains the monthly reports for these areas
Sends thank-you notes and updates to all faith-based groups both monthly and before and after each faith-based event
Makes ID badge appointments after volunteer orientation and give service assignments for Homeless Ministry Time and Chapel, making sure all faith-based organizations are aware of the protocols to follow
Maintains confidentiality of residents, volunteers and donors/supporters
Will lead and/or participate in devotions, prayers, or other ministry activities ex. outreach events
Must be in agreement with and sign The Caring Place Statement of Faith
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a High School diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in an office environment and/or experience with making contacts by phone and in person, or sales position or working with donors through a non-profit organization
Bachelor's degree or college coursework in data management and/or customer/donor services and 3-5 years' office/sales/donor related experience preferred
Must have a valid State of Florida driver's license (4pt. max) with acceptable driving record approved by the TCP's insurance company
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and database management
Knowledge of general office practices and procedures is highly desirable and must to able to follow established protocols
Must have good typing and inputting along with problem-solving skills
Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English fluently, Spanish speaking is highly desirable
A high level of accuracy and confidentiality is required
The ideal candidate will be extremely organized and able to prioritize tasks and is a self-motivator

What You Will Do
As the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the Lazarus Project, you will provide high quality, trauma informed psychiatric care across community outreach and residential settings. You will work with individuals experiencing chronic homelessness, severe mental illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions, meeting them where they are to support stabilization and engagement in treatment. By collaborating closely with the Medical Director, case managers, outreach teams, and residential staff, you will help ensure continuity of care and improved outcomes for some of the community's most vulnerable individuals.
Community Outreach Psychiatry
Psychiatric evaluations: Conduct assessments and follow up visits directly in community settings including encampments and outreach zones.
Medication management: Provide medication monitoring, adjustments, and education in field environments.
Crisis intervention: Deliver brief therapeutic interventions and assess individuals during psychiatric or behavioral health crises.
Outreach engagement: Participate in early morning, evening, weekend, and special outreach operations to reach individuals who are otherwise difficult to engage.
Multidisciplinary collaboration: Work alongside outreach teams to support stabilization and connection to care.
Residential Treatment Center Responsibilities
Resident evaluations: Provide psychiatric assessments for individuals in the Camillus House Residential Treatment Center.
Medication follow up: Manage psychiatric medications for residents and ensure continuity of care.
Urgent clinical support: Respond to time sensitive psychiatric needs within residential programs.
Medication nurse supervision: Guide to the Medication Nurse to ensure proper medication administration, documentation, and adherence to protocols.
Disability Evaluations and Documentation

Cross Program Support

Requirements:
What You Will Bring
Nursing qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP BC.
Licensure requirements: Active Florida APRN license with autonomous practice or a supervising physician agreement and a DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
Clinical experience: Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, severe mental illness, substance use disorders, or co-occurring conditions, including comfort providing care in nontraditional field environments.
Psychiatric expertise: Strong assessment, diagnostic, medication management, and crisis intervention skills.

JOB SUMMARY
The Guest Services Driver (GSD) reports to the Guest Services Supervisor (GSS) and will drive a van or other assigned vehicle to transport passengers, and pick up and deliver necessary items requested by supervisor for agency business. May be asked to monitor and supervise residents and facility in the absence of Guest Services Assistant or Guest Services Supervisor. Will handle emergencies according to policies and procedures and notify management of unusual incidents at occurrence or immediately thereafter.
CORE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts routine "Vehicle Check List," at the beginning and close of each day and promptly reports all mechanical or potential problems to Guest Services Supervisor
Follows Mission policy for accidents, injuries, breakdowns, overheating, etc.
Transports clients and designated personnel to and from approved appointments utilizing safest, shortest route and takes appropriate steps necessary to assure the safety of all passengers
Delivers and picks up purchased or donated items. Drives vehicle to other destinations as assigned
Assists passengers as needed to enter or exit vehicles
Makes trips to Central Office as directed by supervisor, and delivers mail between locations
Drives safely and obeys all traffic rules while abiding by the Mission's safety policy
Maintains a well-groomed (clothes, hygiene, etc.) appearance
Maintains a clean, neat vehicle at all times, and washes vehicle(s) weekly
Monitors and supervises residents and overnight guests throughout the center when acting as staff on duty
Assists with and/or facilitates orientation for new residents as directed by Supervisor
When acting as staff on duty, follows all required procedures and guidelines. Serves as role model for residents in areas such as hygiene, manner of dress, demeanor and attitude

JOB SUMMARY
The Fleet Supervisor will oversee and maintain the organizations fleet of vehicles, and the staff who drive these vehicles

This role ensures that vehicles are safe, reliable, and cost-effective, while supervising drivers and fleet staff, maintaining compliance with regulations, and optimizing fleet operations to support business needs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees the day to day workflow of the transportation department and staff

Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed in accordance with company policy
Will coordinate with the various departments that require transportation services to ensure smooth and safe delivery of personnel and materials
Will conduct monthly trainings that focus on defensive driving and safe handling of materials and personnel.
CORE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops schedules and procedures, and ensures adherence to routine maintenance and repair of all vehicles as needed
Develops and use regularly scheduled loop routes for routine client transportation needs. Schedule non-routine trips as needed and needs of the organization demand.
Collaborates with staff to manage and reduce expenses such as fuel and labor costs and provide reports to senior management
Establishes a schedule for recommended replacement of vehicles as they age out
Ensures that all required safety equipment is present and available in each vehicle and that safety routines for transporting passengers as well as cargo are utilized
Drafts and implements departmental budgets in line with the overall goals of the organization's needs
Develops and enforces procedures, policies, and safety protocols for all fleet services staff
Holds monthly trainings with all transportation staff and provides documentation of participation to senior management
Utilizes Uber Business software for selected events. This includes, booking trips, coordinating with passengers, tipping drivers post trip, preparing invoices and reports for tracking this service.
Utilizes telematics software and equipment to monitor driver compliance with organizational policies and procedures
Monitors fuel consumption and purchase and provide reports to senior management
Ensures that all documentation regarding seatbelt use
Will lead and/or participate in devotions, prayers, or other ministry activities ex. outreach events
Must be in agreement with and sign The Caring Place Statement of Faith
Performs other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a High School diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in fleet maintenance or repair, with two years in a supervisory role required
Must be computer literate have experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) or similar software
Valid driver's license
