Summary
The Chemistry Technician performs chemistry and radiochemistry sampling and analysis to support Technical Specifications, Technical Requirements Manual, and various other Regulatory and site requirements. Under minimal supervision the candidate will perform quantitative analysis including sampling of radioactive and non-radioactive effluents of liquid, solid and gaseous material. This position may also require performance of radiation surveys. Additional responsibilities include providing guidance or assistance to Plant Operations, Engineering, Plant Maintenance, and Chemistry Supervision and providing training of chemistry personnel in chemical and radiochemical analysis.
This job requires the support of a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, 365 days a year including refueling or forced plant outages and is a member of the emergency response organization.

Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
Possess a basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
Preference for candidates with experience in one or more of the following: commercial construction, data center project development, EPC contracting, or emerging technologies.
Microsoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
Current driver's license
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
Preferred:
Minimum of four years field experience in a relevant low voltage industry
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent

The base compensation range for this role is: $110,700 - $166,100 Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%)
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill, and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
