As a Field Safety Manager, your key responsibilities will be to provide HSE support and leadership to field operations. This position must present high energy and passion for communicating and demonstrating HSE goals and objectives. It is essential to be reliable, self-motivated, organized, and professional. Critical for success are excellent verbal, written, and computer skills and strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
* Manage, under limited supervision, HSE Coordinators and interns. Responsibilities include interviewing, training, and developing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; providing feedback; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
* Maintain daily oversite of jobsites and HSE activities. Coordinate schedules to ensure appropriate HSE coverage.
* Develop and maintain working relationship with customers and field operations, understand customer requirements, and assist during formal customer meetings.
* Train, coach, and mentor. Serve as a subject matter expert regarding HSE policies and procedures. Assess HSE field personnel training needs as it pertains to HSE compliance and incident prevention.
* Perform safety observations/audits during site visits and provide appropriate corrective actions. Produce and review professional-level reports in a timely manner.
* Serve as key contact for HSE and field personnel.
* Work directly with operations and HSE Management to determine proper HSE staffing needs.
* Generate and review written reports, training curriculum, SOPs, policies, site and/or customer specific safety plans.
* Represent Michels HSE Department during customer calls, regulatory inspections, customer audits, meetings/presentations, and/or investigations.

**The Opportunity**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Work with a dynamic team within an established global infrastructure consulting and engineering company.
+ Lead the development of environmental impact assessment and review documents in compliance with NEPA and/or similar state-specific programs.

**The Team**
Our Environmental team is a multidisciplinary team of ecologists, engineers, scientists, project managers, and attorneys working together to identify optimum environmental solutions for our clients. We have provided environmental consulting services in support of projects for over 40 years including a diverse and growing mix of infrastructure projects such as power generation (conventional and renewable) and transmission, oil and gas facilities and pipelines, water and wastewater treatment facilities, data centers, and food and beverage industries. As a full-service environmental consulting practice, services include impact assessment and planning, regulatory compliance and permitting, wetland and floodplain analysis, waterbody and water quality assessment, air quality permitting and management, environmental remediation, site due diligence, environmental noise assessment, pollution prevention planning, and climate action solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead NEPA Documentation Efforts:
+ Manage and prepare comprehensive EISs and EAs in compliance with NEPA requirements.
+ Coordinate with federal agencies, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure timely and accurate environmental documentation.
+ Oversee and/or advise on public involvement processes, including scoping, public meetings, and comment response.
+ Support NRC Licensing Activities:
+ Contribute to the development and review of COLAs for nuclear power facilities.
+ Ensure alignment with NRC environmental review procedures and regulatory frameworks.
+ Collaborate with legal, engineering, and regulatory teams to support licensing strategy and documentation.
+ Integrate Environmental Justice Considerations:
+ Identify and assess potential EJ impacts in project areas.
+ Develop mitigation strategies and outreach plans to address EJ concerns.
+ Ensure compliance with Executive Order 12898 and agency-specific EJ guidance.
+ Operate both independently and as part of a team providing critical support to clients in environmental compliance planning, environmental permitting, due diligence, and environmental review services.
+ Identify and interpret the statutes and regulations affecting the siting, design, construction, and operation of projects.
+ Independently perform and lead multidisciplinary teams to conduct environmental analyses and develop permit applications, environmental reports, and environmental compliance procedures manuals.
+ Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality assurance of deliverables.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, environmental engineering, or sciences strongly preferred. May also consider other degrees, specialized training, or experience that uniquely qualifies the individual to perform the job responsibilities.
+ Demonstrated experience leading the development of environmental impact assessment and review documents in compliance with NEPA or comparable state or international requirements, and familiarity with studies and other supporting documentation.
+ Demonstrated experience with NRC licensing processes, particularly COLAs.
+ Proven ability to incorporate Environmental Justice into environmental assessments.
+ Experience with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission environmental documentation requirements associated with the licensing of combustion power plants, fuels, and/or hydroelectric facilities is preferred but not required.
+ Experience working on environmental aspects Federal clients is preferred but not required.
+ Demonstrated success with domestic and international consulting, permitting, licensing, and environmental quality review processes for a wide range of infrastructure projects in sectors such as power generation, process industries, water/wastewater treatment, telecommunications, data centers, and industrial manufacturing

The Opportunity
This Project Manager - Hydropower Generation Services role will support Hydropower Projects. We are seeking candidates with minimum 8 years' experience in Hydropower Generation and at least three years as a Project Manager. Candidate must be located in California
The Project Manager - Hydropower Generation Services role will function in a mid-level project manager capacity. You will own multiple services projects encompassing hydropower plant capital improvements, equipment refurbishment, plant life extension programs, hydraulic structure projects including spillway refurbishment, spillway gates, cranes, hoists, and other civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes for balance of plant systems for existing facilities. Other scopes could consist of feasibility studies, pumped storage, and synchronous condenser technology.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Provide technical support for client projects with design review services, design engineering services, and development engineering support.
* Support client projects with feasibility studies, energy production estimates, and cost estimates, construction support and testing & commissioning.
* Provide proposal support for client projects with technical specification preparation, RFP support, and bid evaluation support.
* Oversee EPC contractors for client projects.
* In this role, you will also support the client interface with assigned clients to assist in developing client relationships and identification of new project opportunities including pre-positioning for favorable consideration by the client.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Mobile Fleet Mechanic to perform field-based diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on utility fleet equipment and vehicles. This includes aerial devices (bucket trucks), digger derricks, and other specialized equipment used in electrical line work. The ideal candidate has experience with hydraulic and electrical systems, understands DOT compliance requirements, and is capable of working independently on active utility job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to job sites to inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment.
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on:
Bucket trucks (aerial lifts)
Digger derricks
Utility pickups, vans, and trailers
Excavators
Skid steers
Troubleshoot and repair issues related to diesel/gas engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and emissions systems.
Conduct ANSI and DOT inspections on aerial and lift equipment.
Maintain accurate service logs, repair documentation, and parts usage records.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a mechanic for utility, construction, or fleet vehicles.
Valid driver's license (Class A preferred or willing to obtain a Class A)
Clean driving record
Experience working on aerial devices, digger derricks, and hydraulic lifting equipment is strongly preferred.
Proficient in reading schematics, using diagnostic tools, and performing computer-based diagnostics.
Familiar with ANSI A92.2 and DOT vehicle inspection standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.

The Environmental Manager is responsible for managing permitting and compliance efforts across our California operations. Requirements:
