Responsibilities*
* Develop protocols and procedures for study tasks, in collaboration with the research team.
* Be responsible for IRB submissions, amendments, renewals, ORIOs, etc. and for regulatory compliance for the project.
* Communicate with research team members and community advisory group for the project and coordinate study logistics and site meetings
* Assist the principal investigator with compliance and reporting to funding and regulatory agencies (e.g., NIH, IRB), including but not limited to drafting Research Performance Progress Reports (RPPRs) and protocols.
* Supervise the research assistants on the study and assist Dr. McKee with performance evaluations and professional development of research staff

Work Schedule
This is a part-time (0.5 FTE/20 hours per week) position. Michigan Medicine has allergy clinics located at Brighton Center for Specialty Care, Northville Health Center, University Student Health Services, and West Ann Arbor Health Center. This position will be based at the Allergy Extract Lab, located at Domino?s Farms Allergy Clinic. This part-time, on-call position is located at MSUCOM's Detroit Medical Center campus and offers a flexible 20-hour work week, 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period, providing in-person and telehealth counseling support to medical students. This role supports key UW Health (UWH) and UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) financial functions, including expense reimbursement, accounts payable, operating budget coordination, and financial analysis. The position plays a critical role in supporting faculty and residents, ensuring departmental compliance, stewarding resources, and enabling data-informed decision-making. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
A. Financial Statement Analysis
* Conduct monthly variance analysis by cost center and expense category.
* Identify trends, recommend corrective actions, and prepare leadership summaries.
* Respond to UWH financial inquiries with audit-ready documentation.
B. Operating Budget Coordination
* Collaborate with faculty and staff leaders to support the annual UWH and SMPH operating budget process.
* Map approved decisions to ~40 cost centers and budget categories with version control.
* Produce documentation for budget traceability and execution.
C. Expense Reimbursement Leadership
* Serve as the department functional lead on UW Health (UWH) expense and accounts payable policies.
* Guide faculty and residents on reimbursement allowability, documentation, and exceptions.
* Lead processing of faculty/residency reimbursements and complex AP transactions.
* Maintain documentation, route approvals, and ensure proper controls.
* Ensure accurate coding, documentation, and policy compliance.
* Support implementation of AI-assisted reimbursement workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
D. Strategic Modernization & Continuous Improvement
* Partner with the DFMCH fiscal leadership to enhance processes, clarify policies, and leverage technology (Oracle, Workday, AI).
* Develop SOPs, guides, and training materials; monitor adoption and impact.
* Coordinate with SMPH and UW Health to align cross-organizational workflows.
* Benchmark best practices and pilot measurable improvements.

Posting Summary
Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Graduate Assistant to work in the Health Informatics Department.
This Graduate Assistant position is designed to support the Instructor with various aspects of online teaching, including grading, working individually with students to improve their performance, and answering questions about the course content.
High work ethics and US work authorization are required.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
* Facilitating online lessons, tutorials or discussions in concert with the Instructor.
* Providing input on grades via an Excel Sheet to be submitted to the Instructor.
* Assisting the Instructor in preparing and sharing reading materials, supplementary notes.
* Understanding and adhering to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
* Performing other related duties as assigned.
FLSA Nonexempt Grade 99H Salary Details $16 per hour Minimum Salary 15.49 Mid Range Salary 75.00 Maximum Salary 150.00 Offer Information
