Job Title: Support Staff/Break Aide Great Start Readiness Program
127 days per year. 1.25-4 hours per day (Monday-Thursday), 5-16 hours per week.
Provides breaks for teachers in the classroom setting, in a high-quality preschool program that complies with the requirements of the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) grant.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Preferably has some experience working with children.
Create and maintain a safe and positive learning environment focused on a sense of belonging within the classroom.
Ability to communicate effectively and relate positively with students, parents, and school personnel.
Good attendance and punctuality.
Commitment to equity, social justice, and inclusion in all practices and position responsibilities.
Team player who is able to multitask and prioritize.
Navigate some technology.
Some English-speaking skills. Bilingual skills are highly desired. Kent ISD has a diverse student population speaking over 100 languages.
Salary: $16.47 per hour

Solve basic computer operational problems for hardware and software using diagnostic tools and communication with district technology personnel
Perform upgrades on computer equipment and applications as directed
Follow standard help desk operating procedures; accurately log, track, and report issues; maintains accurate inventories of technology related equipment at assigned site(s)
Understand and comply with district technology policies, procedures, and standard practices
