Environmental Monitoring: Perform microbial testing in clean rooms and production areas to ensure compliance. Validation Activities: Assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of microbiological validation protocols (e.g., sterilization, cleaning, and environmental validations) in accordance with regulatory and internal quality standards. Sterilization Validation: Support sterilization processes, including microbial challenge studies and review of validation data. SOPs & Documentation: Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure all lab documentation is GMP-compliant. Bench Work & Process Improvement: Apply hands-on experience in bench work, observe processes, and recommend improvements. Autoclave Operations: Operate autoclaves for sterilization and equipment preparation. Knowledgeable of the industry standards and regulations, such as ISO, FDA, GMP, or GLP. Accountabilities: Conduct or supervise pesticide spraying events according to the plan established by the IPM Research Associate 3. Ensure that spraying equipment is in optimal operating condition. Inform the supervisor, Farming System Manager, or shop personnel of any failures. Participate in regular maintenance of sprayers, including backpacks. This could include fluid checks, filter replacements, hose replacements, refueling, nozzle body replacements, and cleaning of the equipment. Be accountable for technical aspects of the sprayer, such as calibrations, to perform effective pest control. Train new hires to operate and maintain the sprayer equipment and its components. Collaborate with the farming team in other tasks or cross-training activities, such as land preparation, planting, and irrigation when necessary. Guarantee proper mixing and application of pesticides on fields. Ensure compliance with all EPA, USDA, and local regulations, as well as all site HSE and quality protocols.
