Job Description:
* Perform physical and administrative task is receiving, shipping, storing, and distributing orders/material for supplies and equipment.
* Execute Cycle Counting program and investigate and present supervisor with root cause analysis. Implement process improvements as needed.
* Handle all day-to-day shipping functions, packaging, labeling, contact Freight Forwarders for pickups. Work with members of the Shipping team to handle and learn all the functions that go into shipping products to customers.
* Transact shipping, receiving, and export compliance actions in multiple computer systems.
* Responsible for Receiving Production, Expense, RMA (Returned Material), and Virtual items
* Participate in cross-functional teams devoted to efficiency, cost-reduction, inventory reduction, inventory turns, and quality.
* Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to the manager.
* Other projects, duties, or cross-training responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with cross functional team members.
* 5 + years of industry experience in warehousing / shipping/receiving / distribution.
* Experience with international shipping and AES filing
* Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, works well with teammates and internal customers, and has a results-based mindset and proven track record of success.
* Experience working with an ERP System as well as Agile.
* Minimum 3 years working knowledge of UPS and FedEx online shipping system.
* Proficient in using MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
* Knowledge of ESD material guidelines.
* Work well under pressure and daily deadlines.
* HS Diploma or GED required.

Job Description:
We are looking for a Production Specialist to join our Wafer Fabrication team in Lawrence, MA! The Production Specialist will perform wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices in a clean room environment by following written specifications and performing multiple operations.
Responsibilities:
* Operating standard wafer fab equipment for various fab operations.
* Data Entry - Manual data entry on process travelers, SPC charts and logbooks, and computer data entry for lot tracking and equipment tracking.
* Work on assignments under general supervision.
* Learn the process flow of the various wafer fab functions.
* Interact with all levels of employees to increase output, reduce waste, standardize work instructions, incorporate continuous improvement, and improve communications and cooperation between departments.
* Engage in daily production operations and anticipate product problems (i.e. so that loss of work hours is minimized, and production objectives are met).
* Exchange timely information with other team members and management on product flow and workforce needs.
* Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards.
* Work with engineering to update technical documents and process/work specifications.

Patent Agent, Intellectual Property

ADI is seeking an experienced patent agent to work in ADI's Intellectual Property Department. This role will prosecute foreign and domestic patent applications and will help manage ADI's global patent portfolio as part of its global IP team.
This role will be based out of ADI's offices in Wilmington, MA and will require hybrid onsite presence (3 days in office). This is not a fully remote role, and no relocation support can be offered at this time.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate will have experience in filing and prosecuting US and/or European patent applications, helping develop and implement of IP portfolios for multiple product groups across different business units, gaining an in-depth understanding of a business and its intellectual property portfolio. As part of a collaborative global IP team, this individual will be responsible for supporting product development through proactive patent drafting to drive the development of IP portfolios. The ideal candidate will also have the depth and breadth of skills and experience needed to:
Prepare and prosecute a global patent portfolio
Assist with IP litigation matters as directed by ADI's Litigation team.
Conduct patentability searches.
Use patent analytics tools.
Strategically manage prosecution and drafting of patent applications by international IP counsel.
Collaborate with team members to support multi-disciplined application drafting and prosecution.
Qualifications:
Registration to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office and/or other patent offices.
Bachelors or higher degree in Electrical/Computer/Engineering or a similar field.
5-10 years of experience in patent prosecution.
Engineering work experience in the semiconductor, the medical device, or software areas preferred.
Strong communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to communicate with engineers.
Capacity to function as part of a team including demonstrated ability of successful collaboration in teams including engineering, IP, and legal professionals.
Semiconductor, Medical device, software, or circuit patent prosecution experience.
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.

The Mfg. Training Administrator is the primary contact for training needs and questions onsite at our Lawrence, MA and Lowell, MA locations. This position will spend approximately 50% of their time at each location.

Semiconductor Device Engineer
ADI's Advanced Physical Technology (APT) group has an opening for a semiconductor device engineer working on Gallium Nitride (GaN) power technology. Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to join our wafer fabrication team in Lawrence, MA. The Equipment Technician will be responsible for:
* Performing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
* Maintaining current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
* Studying equipment performance and reliability.
* Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
* Providing technical support to the production operators and process engineering organizations.
* Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules.
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures.
Requirements/Qualifications:
* Technical or Military training in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
* 6-10 years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience, semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.
* Ability to interpret electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and flow charts.
* Experience in component level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits.
* Experience soldering and desoldering components on printed circuit boards.
* Experience troubleshooting and repairing cable harnesses.
* Ability to test and evaluate the condition of electrical components such as transistors, diodes, resistors and capacitors with an analog or digital multimeter.
* Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to equipment safety and performance.

* Ability to lift and move equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, including wearing appropriate cleanroom attire.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

System Applications Engineer
The Customer Solutions Enablement Group (CSE) group is seeking a System Applications Engineer to join our customer-facing product reference designs team. Who will be responsible for supporting a broad range of industry leading high-performance solutions and standard products for end applications such as instrumentation, aerospace, defense, and communication systems.
The System Applications Engineer is responsible for application development, product engineering, and support of high-performance software-controlled RF modules. As part of a cross functional team, the System Applications Engineer performs definition, development, implementation and documentation of the reference designs driven by customer needs. This includes working directly with the software and HDL teams to define and implement the functionalities needed by the system level applications; as well as providing technical support for our global customers.
Responsibilities include:
Architect, collaborate upon, and maintain system level reference designs
Work in close collaboration with the hardware and software teams for developing new platforms and enhancing the capabilities of the current platforms
Writing and publishing collateral such as Application Notes, Tech Briefs, Technical Articles, Training Material etc.
Provide customer support through various mediums
Support technical customer visits, to help them resolve designs issues
Manage and coordinate multiple projects that run simultaneously
Create technical presentations for industrial and academic venues
Essential skills and competencies:
BS in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science (CS) with minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the design, implementation, and support of communications, radar or general RF systems
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of embedded hardware architectures including AMD/Xilinx or Altera/Intel FPGAs and SoCs
Basic understanding of digital signal processing and frequency analysis
Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of software development languages, including but not limited to C, Python, MATLAB and shell scripting
Demonstrated proficiency with Linux based development
Strong understanding of electronics and embedded systems
Have the ability to work independently and in a team to develop innovative solutions
Ability to comprehend large and complex technical documentation bases quickly
Desired but not required:
MS in EE or CS
Understanding of high-speed data interfaces such as JESD204 and LVDS
Knowledge and understanding of mixed signal systems implementations
