Position Overview:

* Identify, assess, and validate cost and reporting data. Oversee centralized cost repositories and pricing databases. Develop dashboards and summaries that clearly share operational and financial insights with collaborators and leadership.
* Partner closely with Construction, Procurement, Category Managers, Program Managers, and other functions to support global and regional process improvement initiatives and facilitate strategic discussions, meetings, and action‑item tracking.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Eight or more years of relevant experience in cost management, quantity surveying, construction procurement, or analytics within large capital project environments.
* Strong experience supporting MEP systems in cleanroom, hospital, pharmaceutical, or high‑tech manufacturing environments.
* Demonstrated experience in construction procurement, should‑cost methodology, and large‑scale capital delivery programs.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and presentation software, with the ability to manage and analyze complex cost data.

The Role:
We are seeking a candidate to drive power delivery technology and design tool development for 2.5D/3D IC packaging technologies targeted for future AI products. THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Field Application Engineer to join the Centre of Excellence (CoE) group to support our largest hyperscale, mega data center, and enterprise customers. The role broadly involves:

* Build a body of documentation for internal and external dissemination: AMD-internal guides, whitepapers, tuning guides, training collateral.
* Proactive engagement across AMD teams: CPU/GPU/Network Business Units, Engineering, Architecture, Platform, Software, and Product Development teams providing feedback and leadership from the field on requirements. Gathering missing functionality and working with Engineering to resolve and test.
* Assist in creating Total Cost of Ownership models to aid pricing strategies

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
* Knowledge of CPU pinning, NUMA optimization, I/O tuning (both disk and network)
* Experience identifying how silicon / CPU features affect performance of Spark or database workloads (e.g. where does clock speed help? Where does memory latency help? Where does L2 cache size help? Etc.) - explain observed performance, not just report on it.
* Experience with public cloud Infrastructure as a Service offerings - Azure, AWS, Google and/or Oracle Cloud
* Understand how the software stack affects performance: frameworks, precision, compilers, libraries, and other accompanying middleware applications.
* Experience deploying containerized applications in Kubernetes

THE ROLE:
The Data Center Platform Engineering Group (DPEG) supports the physical foundation of AMD's data center operations, ensuring that the right hardware and materials are available, tracked, and compliant to enable large-scale platform deployment and ongoing operations.
As a Material Asset Management Specialist, you will play a critical on-site role in managing the full lifecycle of data center hardware and materials. This includes receiving and tracking assets, maintaining accurate system records, supporting deployment schedules, and ensuring audit readiness at all times. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, suppliers, and logistics partners to keep inventory flowing smoothly and data centers running efficiently.
This role offers hands-on exposure to complex data center environments, enterprise inventory systems, and cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys operational ownership, problem-solving, and being a trusted partner to technical teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Establish and maintain a clear, scalable system for tracking hardware inventory and asset disposition
* Manage shipping, receiving, storage, and documentation of data center assets
* Partner with engineering, operations, and suppliers to align material delivery with project and deployment schedules
* Provide KPI reporting on production, delivery, and inventory status to internal and external stakeholders
* Ensure inventory records are audit-ready with fast, accurate lookup and documentation
* Apply problem-solving skills across operational, technical, and cross-functional scenarios
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
* Inventory control, asset management, or materials coordination in technical or data center environments
* Experience with BOMs, ERP systems, MRP, purchase orders, and inventory management tools
* Shipping and receiving operations, including handling regulated or hazardous materials
* Supporting inventory audits and compliance documentation
* Vendor and supplier coordination, including negotiation and delivery tracking
* Familiarity with DOT and DoD regulations is a plus
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field OR
* Relevant certifications or training in inventory management, logistics, or compliance

The AMD Client Business Unit's Technical Documentation Department is looking for a Technical Writer intern with the knowledge and ability to write and edit engineering-level documents for x86-based computer hardware and software. In addition, experience with Word, FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Visio, Jira, and Confluence is preferred. Knowledge of DITA XML is a plus.
Knowledge of x86 processor architecture.
Knowledge of motherboards that support x86 processors.
Ability to write about hardware and software as it relates to x86 processors and infrastructure.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment following prescribed processes for delivering NDA documentation to engineers.
Ability to work on multiple documents concurrently.
