Position Overview As a Digital Design Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the design and development of Micron's next-generation ASICs. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on advanced technology nodes and gain exposure to the full ASIC development lifecycle, including digital, analog, and mixed-signal design. Candidate Profile The Director of Manufacturing will have a proven track record of success leading manufacturing activities. This key position requires a minimum of 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience in a job shop manufacturing environment. The Director of Manufacturing must possess an understanding and passion for developing people. The preferred candidate will possess an understanding of medical and defense industry standards for how PCBA interconnect flex circuits and Thermofoil heating solutions are produced. An undergraduate degree, ideally with a technical or business management focus (e.g. Manufacturing Management, Engineering, Business Administration) is required; an advanced degree is desired. Qualified candidates will possess a strong operations and manufacturing background with a broad understanding of customer relations, product specifications, and market conditions that affect competitiveness when dealing with engineered products. Experience managing production within a Quality Management System, holding certifications (QMAS, ISO, NadCap, IPC, etc.), and having a proven track record of leading Lean manufacturing improvements, implementing and sustaining 5S, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and Cell Manufacturing. NetSuite (or broad ERP) experience is a significant plus, along with a proven ability to manage resources and schedules within the system. We work collaboratively across engineering disciplines to develop advanced verification components and methodologies that uphold Micron's standards of excellence. **Position Overview** As a Design Verification Engineer Intern, you will join a highly motivated team focused on verifying block-level and full-chip ASIC designs. You'll gain hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM-based testbenches, develop debugging skills, and contribute to the closure of verification plans. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and build a strong foundation in ASIC verification. **Responsibilities** + Work with UVM-based SystemVerilog testbenches to verify ASIC functionality. + Collaborate with verification engineers to drive block, subsystem, or SoC-level verification plans to closure. + Apply verification methodologies, flows, and quality metrics to ensure design integrity. + Debug complex issues and contribute to problem resolution. + Document verification strategies and results for internal stakeholders. **Minimum Qualifications** + Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with equivalent experience. + Coursework in Digital Logic, Computer Architecture, ASIC Verification, and VLSI. + Proficient or working knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Python or SystemVerilog. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with Python and/or SystemVerilog programming. + Familiarity with verification tools and debugging techniques. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. + Interest in developing high-quality verification components for complex SoC designs. + Previous internship or project experience in ASIC design or verification.
