SharePoint is hiring for a Principal Group Product Manager to drive product strategy, execution, and growth for SharePoint's core authoring and AI investments for Comms and Team sites.
As a Principal Group Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, setting long-term strategy and driving day-to-day execution for a portfolio of products with over 300 million monthly users. You will dive deep into cutting edge AI, defining products that leverage the latest and greatest foundation models in new ways, and setting the tone for innovating on evals from first principles. You'll lead a high-performance team of 5 - 6 product managers and partner deeply with design, engineering, applied science, customer experience, research, and data science to ship high-quality products with intensity and velocity. You will also be an important member of the extended SharePoint Experiences Leadership Team, setting the tone and driving high-performance product culture for the overall SharePoint Experiences organization.
You will have the opportunity to exercise intellectual curiosity, sound product / business judgement, and pragmatic execution skills. Responsibilities
* Coach, manage and grow a high performing team of 5 - 6 Product Managers.
* Stay up to date on SOTA for AI, being a force multiplier and knowledge source for your team.
* Define the product strategy and decompose it into a clear set of sequenced priorities to achieve Product-Market fit and overall product / business growth.
* Pioneer evals, inclusive of traditional LLM use cases (summarizing) and non-traditional use cases (web content layout and aesthetics) in close partnership with design, applied science and engineering.
* Create a data-driven, customer-oriented product making culture, that prioritizes craft without compromising on velocity.
* Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, CxPM, and Research to deliver high-quality product outcomes.
* Develop and nurture strong partnerships within the SharePoint organization and with key partners teams (Outlook, Viva Engage, Teams, etc.) to deliver success for our customers.
* Establish and leverage high bandwidth sources of customer signal, working closely with the Customer Experience PM and key stakeholders in Customer-0 (Microsoft).
* Directly engage with customers and represent the product - at conferences (like Ignite, M65Con, ESPC), customer pre- and post-sales calls and EBCs.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product, program management or software development
* OR equivalent experience.
* 6+ years people management experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
