The Center for Brain and Health (CBH) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking a Research Scientist to explore scientific questions related to an in-progress normative brain database. The research scientist will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team responsible for collection of multimodal brain data, including MR imaging, MEG, EEG, and eye tracking. The tentpole of the CBH is the first normative brain database in the region, featuring structural, functional, diffusion MRI, behavioral and health measures, genetic information, and lifestyle questionnaires.
The anticipated appointment start date is May 1, 2026, with a guaranteed term of 18 months and the possibility of renewal based on performance.
Responsibilities
Explore scientific questions related to the normative brain database.
Conduct data collection and processing of multimodal MR imaging, MEG, EEG, and eye tracking.
Apply big‑data analysis techniques and advanced computational methods to brain imaging data.

Qualifications

Job Summary:
Charles R. The CDU HIV Research Pillar and Drew Center for AIDS Research, Education, and Services (Drew CARES) have a vibrant track record of HIV-related research, training, and service delivery.
In collaboration with the Urban Health Institute, the CDU HIV Research Pillar and Drew CARES seek to recruit two faculty members for appointment at the academic rank of Assistant-to-Full Professor. Faculty rank will be determined based on experience and review of dossier material submitted. Recruited faculty members will have opportunities for research collaboration and mentorship with the new UCLA-CDU Center for AIDS Research (CFAR). The CFAR mission is to stop HIV in Los Angeles County and beyond by engaging diverse researchers with multidisciplinary perspectives.
The University is seeking investigators whose work combines HIV prevention, treatment, and/or health services research with any one or more of the following areas: substance use disorders, mental health, trauma, clinical informatics, hepatitis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, or mobile technologies. We seek investigators with research experience and interest in domestic issues related to Black and Latino populations OR international issues related to prevention and treatment services in Sub-Saharan Africa. HIV clinicians are highly encouraged to apply.
All candidates should also demonstrate an interest and skill in teaching or mentorship, and a history of successful multi- and interdisciplinary research collaboration.

The Department of American Indian Studies seeks students as GraduateAssistants. Appointments are contingent upon adequate funding.
* The GraduateAssistant is a student position for those actively enrolled in a graduate program at Fresno State. Students are limited to 20-hours of part-time work on campus.

The Academic Coaching GraduateAssistant will act as a liaison between the Learning Commons and communities within the Stockton and Turlock campuses. The academic coach provides coaching to students on learning strategies and college success skills, promotes services, and connects students to resources. The academic coach will participate in online and in-person staff development, facilitate academic success workshops, assist with data input and tracking, contribute to research, develop marketing materials, conduct outreach to students, refer students to Learning Commons and campus resources, and work on other projects as assigned. By working with the Learning Commons to promote services, coordinate support interventions, implement culturally responsive learning support models, create learning strategy resources, and assist with data collection and assessment efforts, the graduateassistant will play a critical role in increasing student success.
We plan to hire two academic coaches with one academic coach focusing on the Stockton campus and one focusing on the Turlock campus.
Wage/Salary: Approximately $1623/month based on 19 hours worked/week and at 0.5 FTE
Hours per Week: 20 hours
Location: Coaches will be assigned to the Stockton or Turlock campus with most of their work hours occurring on that respective campus. Some travel between Stockton and Turlock campuses for meetings, collaborations, and trainings will be needed.
