Job Description Directs the coordination of dorm maintenance and inventory to ensure safe, clean and orderly dorms. Provide assistance with the facilities and the logistics of the dorms by monitoring and addressing changes in real time. Provides students with training in independent living skills and supports all leadership skills development. Assists the Residential Counselors to maintain shift logs, data entry and reports any unusual or critical incidents, activities or facility issues to superiors immediately. Supports Residential Counselors, Sr. Residential Counselors and other team members in providing effective services to students on their assigned dorm assignments. Acts as a member of a team with assigned dormitory by completing assigned shift duties and communicating all shift specific information appropriately. Supports all residential, maintenance and security monitoring activities in the dorm facility areas. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform daily checks, regular service, and preventative maintenance tasks on company vehicles in order to maximize safety and longevity. Locate breakdowns and communicate with managers to plan and perform mechanical repairs. Look up parts numbers and prices to be ordered for parts requisitions with management. Maintain strong communication with teammates and management. Perform all tasks in an environmentally sound manner, especially in regard to proper disposal of all waste products.
