Middlesex Community College history
Middlesex Community College company history timeline
Middlesex Community College first opened its doors to welcome students on September 24, 1970.
The college celebrated its first Commencement in 1972, two years after Opening Day.
In 1989, MxCC opened a 1,800-square-foot (170 m) childcare center.
After Dobelle left in 1990, Doctor Carole A. Cowan – who started with the college as a professor of business – was named the college’s third president.
In 1998 a branch was opened in Meriden.
Special emphasis will be given to the causes of the First World War, the Second World War, and the Cold War. (Updated November 2014)
