1982

Established in 1982, MidFirst Private Bank was the answer, meeting the service and product needs of high-net-worth individuals and their families.

In 1982, Midland Financial Co. purchased a recently formed charter bank in Stilwell, Oklahoma, and named it MidFirst Bank and moved it to Oklahoma City.

2009

In 2009, MidFirst Bank acquired Community Bank of Arizona and Union Bank, both headquartered in the Phoenix metro area.

2015

In 2015, MidFirst Bank acquired Denver-based Steele Street Bank & Trust, a locally owned and operated community bank.

2016

In July 2016, MidFirst Bank acquired 1st Century Bancshares in Southern California.

2018

In 2018, MidFirst Bank received the highest ranking in the southwest region and the highestoverall score in the nation in the J.D. Power United States Retail Banking Satisfaction Study.

2019

MidFirst again received the highest retail banking satisfaction score in the southwest region in the 2019 J.D. Power United States Retail Banking Satisfaction Study.
