The goal of this cluster hire initiative is to recruit a diverse set of collaborative faculty focused on excellence in research, teaching, and service in terrorism prevention, counterterrorism research, and homeland security studies. These faculty will join the National Counterrorism, Innovation, Technology, & Education ( NCITE ) Center, one of ten federally-designated Centers of Excellence from The Department of Homeland Security to conduct high impact, applied scholarly research for their respective academic units. These positions are open to faculty who have a track record of extramural funding and scholarly articles in their relevant disciplines and can contribute to the mission of NCITE .     Essential Functions The School of Music at the University of Nebraska at Omaha seeks a collaborative individual to engage in teaching, research, and service within an established and comprehensive college music program of undergraduate and graduate students at a metropolitan university. The School of Music, one of three schools within the College of Communication, Fine Arts, and Media, is located in its own performing arts complex. The School just completed an expansion and renovation in February 2019 which includes a brand-new recital hall and state of the art recording studio. Phase II of the expansion is currently underway with the addition of two new classrooms. With a faculty of 45, the School enrolls approximately 250 students and offers the Bachelor of Music degree with concentrations in Music Education and Performance; the Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrations in Music Studies, Music Technology, Jazz, and Entrepreneurship; and the Master of Music degree with concentrations in Conducting, Music Education, and Performance.
