A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST
As a Radiology Technologist, you perform diagnostic imaging procedures in order to help our physicians determine a diagnosis and subsequent treatment plan. Demonstrating a patient-first approach to care, you act as an advocate for the patient, keeping their best interests at the forefront at all times. Before completing scans, you educate the patient on the procedure to reduce their anxiety and provide comfort. Then, you position the patient to ensure the best image possible and complete the procedure. You monitor patients' conditions and reactions and are sure to report any abnormal signs to the physician. Once complete, you check the quality of the images and repeat if necessary. Your attention to detail and accuracy are essential in determining the proper diagnosis for our orthopedic patients. You thrive in this fast-paced environment and get a great deal of satisfaction out of the relationships that you have cultivated with other professionals and your patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Certification in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
* Active license with Illinois Emergency Management Administration (IEMA)

MEDICAL ASSISTANT

MEDICAL ASSISTANT
As a Medical Assistant, you are directly involved in ensuring that we deliver patient-focused orthopedic care at our clinic at all times. You greet patients and triage them upon arrival. You prepare them to see the physician by obtaining their histories, vital signs, and weight/height measurements. You assist our clinicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments and are always a calming presence for our patients. When patients are finished, you review the care plan with them to ensure they understand before leaving our clinic.
We have you to thank for our examination and procedure rooms always being in order, set up, and ready for each new patient. You are intent on maintaining a clean and safe environment. You can also plan on some administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and procedures for patients and managing the necessary documents such as pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results. You also respond to patient phone messages in a timely manner. Your attention to detail ensures that everything is properly documented in our computer system. This fast-paced environment will keep you on your toes, but your positive attitude will ensure your success.
QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program (certification is a plus)
* CPR certification or willing to attain upon hire
* Casting a plus
* DME experience a plus
Previous experience in an orthopedics setting is preferred, but not required. Experience in Electronic Medical Records system would be a plus! RESPONSIBILITIES
· Skillfully and safely, perform all activities required to successfully pass the C.N.A certification in order to transition into the C.N.A role.
· Must remain in good standing with training program. Failure to remain in good standing for any reason may result in termination at the discretion of the training program leaders.
· Read and follow resident's care card. Care plan includes residents daily personal care needs, treatments and therapies. Engage nurse with any questions related to care plan.
· Gives personal care to residents: bathing, toileting, feeding, transferring, and ambulating.
· Promote residents involvement and independence to the extent the resident is able.
· Observe and report changes in physical condition, behavior, reactions, and appetite to nurse. Report any hazardous conditions that may jeopardize resident, visitor, or staff safety.
· Transport residents throughout the facility as needed.
· Attend in-services to fulfill the number of hours required by state.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST
As a Radiology Technologist, you perform diagnostic imaging procedures in order to help our physicians determine a diagnosis and subsequent treatment plan. Demonstrating a patient-first approach to care, you act as an advocate for the patient, keeping their best interests at the forefront at all times. Before completing scans, you educate the patient on the procedure to reduce their anxiety and provide comfort. Then, you position the patient to ensure the best image possible and complete the procedure. You monitor patients' conditions and reactions and are sure to report any abnormal signs to the physician. Once complete, you check the quality of the images and repeat if necessary. Your attention to detail and accuracy are essential in determining the proper diagnosis for our orthopedic patients. You thrive in this fast-paced environment and get a great deal of satisfaction out of the relationships that you have cultivated with other professionals and your patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certification in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Active license with Illinois Emergency Management Administration (IEMA)
2+ years of experience in radiography in a high volume orthopedic clinical setting (preferred)
