Our campus, nestled just south of the Pocono Mountains in PA, offers advanced medical detox and residential treatment in a single peaceful environment. We treat each client by integrating therapies that address physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. We prioritize relationships and connection to help our clients recover what matters most to them. We are seeking a full-time therapist to join our team. The position hours are Tuesday through Saturday 8a-4:30p. Position Summary The Program Therapist is responsible for providing individual and group therapy sessions for clients in a specialized substance use disorders and Mental Health Residential treatment facility. Position is responsible for assessing the therapeutic needs of the individuals and families, and for developing appropriate treatment. Program Therapists act as the primary contact for clients and families throughout the treatment process and serve as a client advocate with the treatment team. Position acts as a liaison with referral sources, clinical partners, and internal resources to coordinate care throughout the treatment process. Relationships and Contacts Within the organization: Maintains frequent and close working relationships with the Executive Director, Business Development team members, Admissions team members, Nursing leadership, milieu leadership, and all clinical team members. Outside the organization : Initiates and maintains professional working relationships with clients and their families, referral partners, clinical partners, and vendors, as needed. Position Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities Demonstrates a high level of clinical skill in assessing the clinical needs of clients, determining appropriate interventions, and conducting individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with these needs. Completes psychosocial evaluations, treatment plans, contact logs, discharge plans and other reports required for each client in compliance with State, accrediting bodies, quality guidelines and payor source guidelines. Conducts weekly individual and family therapy sessions for assigned caseload. Monitors behavioral interventions for clients and provides skills coaching, as needed. Conducts specialized groups as assigned based on education, training, and experience; supervises or co-leads groups with staff or interns when appropriate. Selects appropriate interventions to meet the clinical needs of individual clients. Maintains therapeutic relationship with clients using praise and other reinforcers to encourage appropriate behaviors and attitudes. Sets limits and hold boundaries in a kind and firm manner. Demonstrates effective verbal crisis intervention and de-escalation, involving other staff as needed. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate client care from admission through discharge. Attends weekly clinical, consultation and business meetings; present cases to be discussed as pre-assigned. Completes documentation in a timely and accurate manner reflecting ongoing assessment of client's clinical presentation and behaviors. Communicates client progress with the referral source, family, parent, or guardian informed of treatment goals and plans, as appropriate. Documents in accordance with policies and procedures services provided, incident reports, shift reports, or department reports in a timely and accurate manner. Communicates with referents, clients, and families appropriately and effectively. Uses the referral process to build relationships with new referents and engages in collaboration with referents. Addresses clients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in a pleasant and respectful manner. Responds to clients and families with empathy and positive professional skills. Additional Responsibilities Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing treatment and results data and trends. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Can be relied upon to be at work as scheduled and is rarely absent from work, notifying the supervisor if absent. Reads, understands, and adheres to all company policy statements on ethics, conduct, and conflict of interests; adheres to facility policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains positive attitude and acts as a team player with others on the team. Attends and completes all training within assigned time frames as required by the facility. Performs other duties as assigned. What We're Seeking Education and Experience Position requires a bachelor's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy or psychology. Master's degree is strongly preferred. Must hold or be working toward Pennsylvania licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LMHC). Position requires a minimum of one (1) year experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, preferably with clients with Mental Health diagnoses, including Thought Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Trauma History, Anxiety and Depression, strongly preferred. Additional Requirements Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance. Clearance of TB test, PA and FBI background check, and any other mandatory state/federal requirements. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Care plans outline necessary steps, identified collaboratively with the care team, to achieve objectives identified in the biopsychosocial assessment. Leverage evidence-informed, clinically excellent treatment interventions. Advocacy - advocates for the needs and interest of clients and families to promotes clinical excellence through improved outcomes, access to care, and service delivery. Participates in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing client outcomes and strengthening clinical service delivery. Interdisciplinary and Interorganizational Collaboration - promotes cross functional collaboration among team members and referral partners to support and enhance clinical service delivery and support. Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:· Notifies appropriate personnel of real or potential safety hazards or violations and takes immediate corrective action when necessary. Gains working knowledge of plant equipment and how it operates, using knowledge to properly troubleshoot and maintain. Understands theory, application, repairs and the maintenance of hydraulic/pneumatic systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances. Reads blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings, electrical prints, and other technical documents to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues. Troubleshoots and analyzes electrical, mechanical and operational issues on all equipment and takes required corrective action to resolve these issues. Performs preventive maintenance and lubrication on all equipment. Performs changeovers on all equipment. Knowledgeable in 120/230/480 low voltages. Troubleshoots, adjusts and repairs/replaces electrical and control devices including: AC or DC drives, contactors, motors, breakers, solenoids, power supplies, sensors, and indicator lights. Has a clear understanding of predictive maintenance, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance workflow processes. Knowledgeable of standard manufacturing workplace computer programs, including Outlook, Excel and plant CMMS (Infor, Maximo, MP2, SAP, etc.) Maintains equipment records and logs (as needed), including detailed work orders and actions taken to resolve problems. Assists production, maintenance, process engineers, and project engineers to meet daily priorities, coverage and special projects Assists with projects and equipment installations as necessary. Shares knowledge and techniques with team members and assists with training of new personnel. Attends all training seminars provided by the company, when applicable. Maintains a clean and orderly work area, including housekeeping of maintenance shops and tool boxes. Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so. Education and experience requirements: HS diploma or equivalent required. Minimum completion of (2) year vocational school or commensurate experience, preferred. Minimum (3) three experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred. Desired verifiable training from a technical institution and/or documented equivalent of experiences described in Skill-Sets. Intermediate to Advanced mechanical knowledge and skills. Fundamental to applied knowledge of electrical theory and principles of operation. Good communication skills. Good analytical skills. Understands the impact of downtime and waste on production efficiency. Works well in a team environment. Able to perform assigned duties without direct supervision. Work Environment: Noisy environment requiring hearing protection; manufacturing environment requiring safety shoes and safety glasses other PPE required based upon specific tasks. Temperature variations between low and high temperatures. Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times. Physical Requirements: Walk / stand 100% of time during a 12-hour shift. Constant bending, kneeling, and climbing throughout shift. Constant climbing and reaching into machines to fix jams. Frequent reaching overhead during shift. Constant pushing and pulling with arms and legs throughout shift. Constant lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs. Constant use of hands and occasional use of foot control. Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift. Operation of roll manipulators, baler, and compactor. Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area. Required participation in a daily pre-shift warm-up routine.
