Position Title: AN/BYG Senior Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Technical Direction Agent (TDA) Support Department: USW Combat Systems Department (Code 25) Branch: Deployed Systems Branch (Code 2514) Position Summary: Provide comprehensive support to the Technical Design Authority (TDA) for the AN/BYG system within the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) domain. Assist in managing and maintaining the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of technical documentation and related logistics efforts, ensuring alignment with established schedules and compliance standards. Primary Responsibilities: Assist the TDA with various tasks to support ILS objectives, including: Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance using established checklists. Creating new Technical Manual Deficiency Evaluation Reports (TMDERs) based on findings in existing technical manuals. Managing and updating existing TMDERs, ensuring appropriate incorporation into technical manuals and recommending closures when applicable. Investigating technical manual discrepancies reported by Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Fleet Support Teams, and Installation Teams through desktop reviews and lab validation efforts. Supporting the development and maintenance of the master schedule for all upcoming technical manual releases. Participating in recurring ILS meetings such as: Weekly TMDER Evaluation Meeting Weekly GD/MIKEL Status Meeting Weekly ILS Team Meeting Collaborating with Source Providers to ensure timely submission of required source data in accordance with the master schedule. Engaging in reviews of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and Revision Readiness Milestones (RRMs) prior to initial Rev 0 releases for modernization efforts. Monitoring and supporting key delivery milestones, working closely with the IETM Development Team (IDT) and TDA to ensure deadlines are met. Participating in procedure validation and verification events in the lab, coordinating with the Integration Team and tracking associated redlines. Submitting lab request forms and scheduling lab time to support ILS validation and verification activities. Required Skills & Attributes: Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to follow direction from team leads. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines for technical manual releases. High attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of logistics data and documentation. Preferred Experience: Hands-on experience supporting Technical Manual Development initiatives. Familiarity with S1000D-based Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) is highly desirable.
