Position Profile: The Peer Navigator works with clients as they transition between the Milestone medical detox to applicable community services. The Peer Navigator provides services to clients who are currently inpatient in the Milestone detox program, and in a short-term capacity in the community assisting to link post-detox clients to treatment, case management, housing, or other necessary resources. Position Profile: The Peer Navigator works with clients as they transition between the Milestone medical detox to applicable community services. The Peer Navigator provides services to clients who are currently inpatient in the Milestone detox program, and in a short-term capacity in the community assisting to link post-detox clients to treatment, case management, housing, or other necessary resources. Special focus will be on clients who have had multiple episodes of detox care. Regular travel within the Greater Portland area is required. Qualifications Required: Identify as a person in recovery and successfully complete Peer Recovery Coach training, as well as obtain certification as a Certified Intention Peer Support Specialist. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to transport clients to appointments.
