If additional staff are needed to cover shifts, this is communicated to Executive Director in a quick and efficient manner. • You regularly schedule yourself to work direct service hours, including consistent and regular evening shifts and including various overnight. • Supervision and support is given during times when residents are present which is typically evening, overnight, and weekend times. • See that Clients receive trauma informed services consistent with agency operational policies, in a safe, clean and healthy environment. • You deliver high quality crisis intervention and seek appropriate support to assist in difficult or emergency client situations. • You carry out the application and interview process respectfully, timely, and consistent to Shelter House policies, procedures, and mission-including request for accommodations. • Oversee and maintain the daily operations of the Shelter House facility. So That: • The facility is secure through the appropriate use of alarm and security functions, and you respond immediately to any breaks in security. • Thorough house checks of Center are performed every shift. • The facility is monitored and observed to assess and respond to any problems. • High quality routine cleaning is performed each day, and cleaning supplies and materials are used and stored appropriately. • Laundry and bathroom facilities are supplied and orderly. •Manage client records, files, and reports to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and security of files. Position Summary The curator serves a critical leadership role for the Preserve, managing all aspects of the Preserve's museum-accredited native plant collection and ensuring that the Preserve conforms to the highest standards of museum practices. The Center for Humanistic Change is hiring for part-time Prevention Program Specialists. Daytime availability is required. The flexibility to assist with occasional weekend and evening programs is a plus. Part-time specialists/facilitators may work up to four days per week, and a maximum of 29 hours per week. Prevention Specialists will be responsible for facilitating prevention programs/trainings in schools for students of all ages, as well as providing community awareness and information dissemination at events and health fairs in the Lehigh Valley. Familiarity with curriculum materials is a plus, but training will be provided. Work will be available both during the school year and summer. Ideal candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently and with a team, manage deadlines for paperwork and electronic data entry, and relate well to youth and adults.
