Support the General Manager in daily operations and overall property management Supervise department heads and staff to ensure adherence to hotel policies and service standards Assist with hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions Handle guest concerns and ensure prompt service recovery Monitor guest feedback (TripAdvisor, OTAs, surveys) and implement improvements Maintain accurate reports including cash flow, AR aging, billing, and inventory Lead morning meetings in the GM's absence and assist with business planning Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and brand standards Perform property and room inspections; oversee maintenance and FF&E Collaborate with the sales team on client relations and new business opportunities Fill in across departments when needed and respond to emergencies as required Support audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives PREREQUISITES: Strong management skills, ability to appropriately assign or delegate work and authority to others in the accomplishment of goals. And provide coaching, advice and assistance as required. Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights. EDUCATION: A degree or diploma in hotel management or a related field is preferred. Experience in financial accounting, personnel supervision and problem resolutions is an added advantage. Excellent computer system skills. EXPERIENCE: At least 5 to 10 years' experience in the hospitality industry. At least 3 to 4 years of experience as an Asst. General Manager.
