General Overview The Correctional Officer Trainee is an entry-level, full-time position with the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC). Employees serve a critical role in the overall success of the ADOC by performing correctional work in state prisons by overseeing the custody, rehabilitation, and reentry of inmates.
