Patrol your assigned park area or facility extensively on foot or in a golf cart (whenever a golf cart is available) to detect and deter individuals or groups from committing acts, which are injurious to others or to property. At no time during your shift will you be allowed to remain in your personal vehicle.
Complete and maintain all required reports (do include DARs, incident reports, maintenance reports, etc.) promptly, legibly, accurately, thoroughly, neatly, and with correct grammar and spelling.
Direct required personnel and visitors to appropriate locations within the property.
Report to work on time and remains on assigned post until relieved as required.
Identify, report, and document all safety hazards, malfunctioning equipment, spills, and other such matters to the appropriate lead officer, site supervisor, and/or client representative.
Respond to emergency situations and evaluate situations encountered and take action as prescribed in Post Orders and/or notices.
Use independent judgment and discretion as necessary in the performance of routine and non-routine activities and handling unruly or trespassing public.
Investigate questionable acts or behaviors observed or reported on client premises and question witnesses and suspects to ascertain or verify facts and notify authorities if warranted.
Ensure the security of identified areas and or facilities at designated periods as required by the assignment.
Communicate and interact with supervisors, co-workers, client representatives, and the general public in a respectful and professional manner.
Must maintain custody of the assigned park phone while on duty and respond to all calls made to that phone. The company-issued phone must be returned to the office at the end of your shift.
Must sign in within 15 minutes of the start of your shift and sign out within 5 minutes of the end of your shift or within 15 minutes after the end of your shift.
Develop and maintain courteous relationships with company employees, client representatives, and the general public.
Maintain a professional atmosphere within the areas of assignment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
May be required to balance, sit, stand, reach, walk, climb stairs, kneel, crouch, lift (maximum 20 pounds), twist, grasp, talk, hear, and see using close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and depth perception.
May be required to run, push, pull, and yell.
Communicate effectively and coherently while initiating and responding to radio and or telephone communications.
Must remain alert and maintain attention to detail while performing all required functions. At no time are employees allow to possess or utilize personal entertainment devices to include, but not limited to laptops, tablets, gaming devices, etc. You may maintain possession of your personal cellphone, however it may only be used for emergencies while on duty.
Must be able to work independently and organize/prioritize workload to ensure completion of all tasks within established time frames.

* Candidates are required to complete an intensive 13-week training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA, followed by specialized 18-week training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD. Failure to pass the training program may result in separation from the Secret Service.
* Sign a mobility agreement stating your willingness to accept assignments anywhere within the United States and overseas.
* Certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so, if you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959.
* Must have uncorrected vision of at least 20/100, correctable to 20/20 in each eye. LASIK, ALK, RK, and PRK surgeries are acceptable if required post-surgery visual tests are passed: Lasik (3 months), PRK (6 months), ALK/RK (1 year) waiting periods apply.
* Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500,1000 and 2000Hz ranges.
Qualifications

It is a physical fitness assessment which consists of four components (push-ups, sit-ups, Illinois Agility Run and a 1.5 Mile Run). The APAT is designed to measure the current level of general physical fitness of an applicant, which serves as an indicator of an applicant's ability to safely complete a vigorous physical training program. General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Manual dexterity with comparatively free motion of fingers, wrist, elbows, shoulders, hips and knee joints is required. Arms, hands, legs and feet must function sufficiently in order for applicants to perform the duties satisfactorily.

* Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. The first installment of $15,000 will be paid following successful completion of Secret Service Criminal Investigator training. A second installment of $10,000 will be paid following one year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. The final installment of $15,000 will be paid after a third year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. Provision of these payments require the execution of a three-year Continued Service Agreement (CSA) with the agency. Newly hired employees who resign from the USSS prior to the expiration of the CSA will be required to repay the recruitment incentive. (NOTE: Eligibility is limited to "Newly appointed" Federal employees as defined by 5 CFR 575.102).
Applicants selected for this position will be required to sign a CSA before being assigned to an initial training class. The CSA will commit the applicant to a specified period of employment with the Secret Service upon the successful completion of training.
Applicants will be required to travel to all phases of the hiring process at their own expense. If a final job offer is extended, relocation expenses will not be authorized for first duty location.

Conduct In-Depth Analysis: Perform deep-dives into cyber threats, including analyzing malware, understanding adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and tracking threat actor groups.
Develop and Maintain Threat Models: Create and refine threat models and frameworks to predict and prepare for potential attacks, focusing on threats relevant to our industry and infrastructure.
Enhance Our Security Posture: Work with our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), Detection Engineering, Automation Engineers and Incident Response teams to integrate threat intelligence into our detection and prevention systems, improving our ability to identify and respond to threats.
Produce Actionable Reporting: Generate timely and high-quality intelligence/Threat Landscape reports, risk forecasts and alerts for technical and executive audiences, translating complex threat information into clear, actionable insights.
Automation: Promote automation of indicator ingestion, correlation, and dissemination across GSOC, Automation and IR platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be operating a company vehicle, patrolling a dedicated site and responsible for detecting and deterring any vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior. General duties include:
Inspecting the property for damage, unsafe conditions, and suspicious activity,
Identifying potential security risks and conducting initial investigations,
Preparing and executing clear and concise reports,
Communicating major events or emergencies to your Field Supervisor and Emergency Services as needed,
Following all 007 Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Post Orders.
REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities
Monitor designated streets, lots, garages, other public areas and/or an entire campus to ensure compliance with parking policies.
Provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking policies.
Issue citations and warnings for non-compliance with a computerized hand held computer or manual tickets. Impound, boot or relocate vehicles as directed.
This position requires the ability to work alone and therefore must exercise proper judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with people.
Assist maintenance staff with duties related to parking equipment and facility upkeep and maintenance. This includes but is not limited to: inspecting and assessing lots for maintenance issues, painting, cleaning and repairing parking meters and pay and display machines, installing signs, sign posts and meter posts.
Assist in the collection and security of all monies received through parking meters, multi-space machines , pay on foot technology and any other means of collecting parking revenues and fees.
Assist event staff with activities related to parking for events. This includes but is not limited to: setting up for events, traffic control, receipt of payment for parking, and lot usage control.
Assist office staff with activities related to permit sales during peak seasons. This includes but is not limited to data entry, collating mailings, providing frontline customer service.
Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualification Requirements: The personnel selected for parking enforcement officer positions must have certain traits and abilities that enable them to achieve expected levels of performance. Some of the most important competencies are exercising sound independent judgment and maintaining a high level of customer service. Other areas include:
Knowledge of geography of the area they are enforcing
Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions
Ability to use a hand held computer
Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle

Position Summary:
The primary duties of the Operator in the Surveillance Operations Center (SOC) is to assume responsibilities for the command, control, and coordination of the CCSN campus security operations.
