Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Research property attributes and ownership information, continually updating KBC records to reflect accurate and up-to-date information
Operationalize data processes to provide team with ad-hoc analysis
Track market information and prepare monthly, quarterly, and client-specific market reports
Collaborate with Location Intelligence (GIS) team at KBC, coordinating proprietary market dashboards and data visualization projects for external presentations
Proactively leverage KBC data and research for client strategy and business use; partner with KBC stakeholders to identify improvements and opportunities for thought leadership on market insights
Develop and continuously enhance research activities and processes, including tracking key market and building level activity
Assist in efforts to enhance our proprietary database and drive data entry, identify process and tool improvement opportunities
Creatively translate data into meaningful insights for our clients, supporting communication between KBC New Jersey and clients
Drive data standardization processes for the purposes of marketing and industry collateral

Manhattan, New York Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) is a subunit team within Apple Bank's (the Bank) AFC Department and is a second line function that acts as a primary subject matter expert (SME) concerning transaction monitoring, suspicious activity detection and reporting used to support BSA/AML and Sanctions compliance across the Bank. The Financial Intelligence Unit Analyst is a member of the FIU and is responsible for the daily operations within the AFC subunit.
Specifically, the Financial Intelligence Unit Analyst will assist in the initial phase of the Bank's case management system and support the alert review and case investigations processes in monitoring for and identifying potentially suspicious activity. The individual will conduct an investigation of customer account activity and, when necessary, prepare a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Financial Intelligence Unit Analyst will:
Perform the review of assigned BSA/AML transaction monitoring system alerts and cases.
Complete comprehensive reviews of customer activity to identify potential financial crime risks.
Conduct internet and other research concerning the customers and counterparties involved with transactions, as appropriate.
Review complex and multi-tiered relationships to determine if account activity is suspicious and requires the filing of a SAR.
Write a comprehensive analysis of the account activity to support the disposition to close/escalate an alert, close/escalate a case, and file a SAR when required while meeting Management-defined productivity and quality control requirements.
Thoroughly document alert and case investigations, including supporting data, research, analysis and rationale for the recommendation within the case management system in a timely manner and in compliance with regulatory guidelines and AFC procedures.
Provide recommendations for off-boarding customers who pose a heightened risk to the Bank as directed by the Head of Financial Intelligence Unit.
Prepare summaries of customers with multiple SARs and high-risk investigation cases for the Head of Financial Intelligence Unit, BSA Officer, and SAR Sub-Committee, as needed.
Maintain a high degree of relevant knowledge with respect to BSA/AML laws and regulations which includes monitoring new and proposed BSA/AML-related legislation, regulatory requirements, key enforcement actions, key trends, and emerging issues, as directed by the Head of Financial Intelligence Unit.

The Intelligence and Analysis Bureau collects information related to domestic extremist, foreign terrorist organization, targeted violence, and hostile foreign intelligence threats to the State of New Jersey and the region; provides insightful analysis to generate intelligence products relevant to New Jersey; and disseminates tailored, actionable intelligence to New Jersey's law enforcement, public and private-sector partners in a timely manner.

Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Manage the staff and activities of the bureau including identifying and modifying programs based on a changing threat environment and hiring, training, supervising and evaluating personnel.
• Coordinate analytical investigations designed to gather intelligence information to establish a profile of an alleged group(s) or organization(s) involvement in terrorism objectives to determine resources, capabilities, intent, and vulnerability studies. REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Political Science, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Economics, Homeland Security, or related areas of studies.
NOTE: Applicants who possess a Juris Doctorate from a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association, and who have received credit for course work in international law, may substitute this degree for the required education.
Experience: Nine (9) years of experience in gathering, prioritizing, coordinating, collating, reviewing, analyzing and compiling unassembled classified/highly sensitive information and data in a government or research center utilizing acceptable research methodologies and technologies with a designed application for security research projects, or national/international security programs. Three (3) years shall have been in the capacity of training subordinate Intelligence Analysts and/or functioning as an analyst/investigative team leader.
NOTE: A master's degree in one of the areas listed above, or in Security Studies, Foreign Service, Foreign Diplomacy, International Affairs, International Public Policy, Middle East or Arab Studies or related areas of study may be substituted for one (1) year of broad experience.

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will report to the Cyber Incident Response Team within the Office of Counter Terrorism.

WHAT YOU'LL TAKE ON
Lead Threat Intelligence Operations: Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of the organization's cyber threat intelligence (CTI) program, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk tolerance.
Conduct In-Depth Analysis: Perform deep-dives into cyber threats, including analyzing malware, understanding adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and tracking threat actor groups.
Develop and Maintain Threat Models: Create and refine threat models and frameworks to predict and prepare for potential attacks, focusing on threats relevant to our industry and infrastructure.
Enhance Our Security Posture: Work with our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), Detection Engineering, Automation Engineers and Incident Response teams to integrate threat intelligence into our detection and prevention systems, improving our ability to identify and respond to threats.
Produce Actionable Reporting: Generate timely and high-quality intelligence/Threat Landscape reports, risk forecasts and alerts for technical and executive audiences, translating complex threat information into clear, actionable insights.
Automation: Promote automation of indicator ingestion, correlation, and dissemination across GSOC, Automation and IR platforms.
KPI's: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the threat intelligence program (e.g., intelligence-to-action rate, time to disseminate).
Maturity Assessment: Conduct periodic maturity assessments of the threat intelligence function, recommending improvements in processes, skills, and tools.
Mentor and Guide: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team's mission.

Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 3 years in a dedicated threat intelligence role.
Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including knowledge of threat actor groups, common attack vectors, and malware families. Insider threat knowledge is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data from various sources (e.g., open-source intelligence, dark web forums, technical reports) to form a cohesive threat picture.
Intelligence Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with common threat intelligence frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, the Cyber Kill Chain, and Diamond Model.

Job Summary:
Public Safety Officers foster and maintain a safe and secure environment for its students, faculty, staff, and visitors across all St. John's University campuses and branch properties. Public Safety Officers report directly to Supervisors; they do not manage a staff.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for responding to all calls for assistance which include crimes in progress, past crimes, vehicle accidents , personnel injuries, medical and aided cases, fires, smoke, burglar and duress alarms and render aid as required.
Must render first aid, CPR and utilize Automated External Defibrillator.
Operate a patrol vehicle in a safe and proficient manner in areas of high pedestrian traffic.
Conduct field investigations concerning violations of law, violations of University policy and violations of the student code of conduct reported to them. Gather and compile information, and prepare reports.
Engage with the various campus community departments checking on needs or security concerns.
Patrol assigned posts or areas either on foot, bicycle, scooter, or in a motor patrol vehicle.
Actively participate in crime prevention and community policing activities.
Be mindful of current crime trends on and around the campus grounds and take appropriate action to deter such activity.
Direct pedestrian and vehicle traffic and enforce campus parking regulations.
Perform general security services, including locking and unlocking buildings, rooms, laboratories and roadway gates.
Assist students who require escorts in and around the campus property due to injury or accessibility issues.
Assist motorists who are having battery, tire or door lock problems.
Perform campus access control in security kiosks (booth) by documenting vehicle license plates and issuing parking permits.

The Campus Safety Officer position operates under the direction and supervision of the Director and Assistant Director of Campus Safety. As a per diem role, officers are called in as needed to backfill full-time positions, provide event coverage, or offer additional support to the department. While on shift, officers report directly to the Lead Supervisor or assigned Supervisor.
As an essential employee, officers are required to remain on duty or report to work during partial or full-day site closures due to hazardous conditions, emergencies, or inclement weather.

Officers enforce university policies and local laws, control facility access, and assist students and staff with safety and security concerns. Job Duties
Conduct routine patrols of university buildings and campus grounds.
