About the Role Security Officers act as a visual deterrents and intervene and respond to all levels of security and potential emergency needs including acts or threats of violence, emergencies, and life safety threats. This position requires specialized training and physical conditioning. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures. Responsibilities Patrol and monitor all areas of the property, including the exterior I.D. all incoming patrons entering sportsbook Monitor alarm system and surveillance cameras Provide excellent guest service to guests and employees and resolve complaints and issues involving both guests and employees Act as a first responder in emergency situations Perform gaming drops/transactions, including carrying drop boxes and chip carriers Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as property damage, theft, guest or employee accidents, or unusual occurrences Act as a dispatcher to relay information, messages and/or emergencies to or from appropriate personnel using telephones or two-way radios Render appropriate first aid to injured persons and following established protocol for reporting injuries Assist in emergency situations by securing the scene to prevent further loss or damage, advise personnel of threats and potential threats, summon emergency responders to the incident, and initiate and conduct evacuation procedures Required to successfully attend and pass all recurring mandatory legal, defensive tactics, first aid, CPR/AED training/drill as a condition of employment Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned equipment Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications 1+ years of customer service experience Valid Driver License Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred Previous experience working in a similar resort setting Ability to gain and maintain a Gaming License through the proper regulatory bodies as a condition of hire and continued employment Compensation The hourly pay range for this position is $14.23 to $21.25. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan. In This Role, You Will: Analyze space-based threats by synthesizing information from SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and other intelligence sources Conduct in-depth research and assessments of adversarial space systems, sub-systems, and supporting components Develop and present comprehensive intelligence reports and technical briefings for decision-makers Utilize advanced multi-INT tools to exploit complex datasets Evaluate and forecast space system capabilities and threat trajectories Stay current with emerging space technologies, adversarial strategies, and analytical best practices Participate in required government training and maintain security and compliance protocols We're Looking for Someone Who: Has 2+ years of college or military technical training Brings 4+ years of experience processing and analyzing scientific/technical intelligence data Holds an active TS/SCI clearance, or is eligible to obtain and maintain one Is a U.S. citizen (required under government contracts) Demonstrates strong research, writing, and analytical skills Communicates effectively through both briefings and written reports Works well in dynamic, collaborative environments and adapts to changing priorities Furthermore, do you have, or want to develop these skills? A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) standards and tools Experience in space ISR employment and adversarial space capabilities Familiarity with space launch procedures and advanced methodologies Intelligence certifications recognized within the IC Why Join Parallax?
