* Possess a current valid driver's license. Must be REAL ID compliant.

* Candidates are required to complete an intensive 13-week training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA, followed by specialized 18-week training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD. Failure to pass the training program may result in separation from the Secret Service.
* Sign a mobility agreement stating your willingness to accept assignments anywhere within the United States and overseas.
* Certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so, if you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959.
* Must have uncorrected vision of at least 20/100, correctable to 20/20 in each eye. LASIK, ALK, RK, and PRK surgeries are acceptable if required post-surgery visual tests are passed: Lasik (3 months), PRK (6 months), ALK/RK (1 year) waiting periods apply.
* Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500,1000 and 2000Hz ranges.
Qualifications
As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 2-year trial period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. * Have at least one full year of graduate level education (i.e. 18 semester hours); OR
* Have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GL-5 level. * A combination of specialized experience, as described above, and related graduate level education.
You are minimally qualified for the GL-09 Level (starting base salary $54,485) if you possess one of the following:
* A master's or equivalent graduate degree (such as LL.B. or J.D.) or two full years of progressively higher graduate education, in a related field, leading to such a degree from an accredited college or university; OR
* Have at least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GL-7 level such as experience applying law enforcement, protective, or investigative techniques in the performance of job duties; identifying problem areas and proposing and implementing solutions; taking responsibility for own actions and those of team members to ensure the goals and deadlines for the team are met; and leading meetings or seminars on behalf of a professional or academic group; setting work priorities and allocating resources; partnering with other individuals from within and outside the organization; OR
* A combination of specialized experience, as described above, and related graduate level education, beyond the first full year of graduate level study.
You are minimally qualified for the GS-11 Level (Starting base salary $63,795) if you possess one of the following:
* Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M.; OR
* Have at least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GL-9 level such as experience in, or related to planning and conducting complex criminal investigations to determine violations of Federal laws and regulations; collecting and assembling facts to identify logical conclusion; gathering, analyzing, and evaluating evidence or data; conducting interviews and interrogations; making arrests; conducting searches and seizures; taking responsibility for own actions and those of team members to ensure the goals and deadlines for the team are met; partnering with or leveraging networks or relationships from outside the organization, experience managing complex projects including setting priorities and determining resource requirements; OR
* A combination of specialized experience, as described above, and related graduate level education beyond two full years of graduate level study.

As part of the application process the applicant will be required to complete the United States Secret Service Applicant Physical Abilities Test (APAT). It is a physical fitness assessment which consists of four components (push-ups, sit-ups, Illinois Agility Run and a 1.5 Mile Run). The APAT is designed to measure the current level of general physical fitness of an applicant, which serves as an indicator of an applicant's ability to safely complete a vigorous physical training program. It evaluates the applicant's ability to perform the physical tasks required on the job by measuring muscular and dynamic strength, endurance, flexibility, aerobic capacity and other factors related to physical aptitude. General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Manual dexterity with comparatively free motion of fingers, wrist, elbows, shoulders, hips and knee joints is required. Arms, hands, legs and feet must function sufficiently in order for applicants to perform the duties satisfactorily.
Additional information
* Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. The first installment of $15,000 will be paid following successful completion of Secret Service Criminal Investigator training. A second installment of $10,000 will be paid following one year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. The final installment of $15,000 will be paid after a third year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. Provision of these payments require the execution of a three-year Continued Service Agreement (CSA) with the agency. Newly hired employees who resign from the USSS prior to the expiration of the CSA will be required to repay the recruitment incentive. (NOTE: Eligibility is limited to "Newly appointed" Federal employees as defined by 5 CFR 575.102).
Applicants selected for this position will be required to sign a CSA before being assigned to an initial training class. The CSA will commit the applicant to a specified period of employment with the Secret Service upon the successful completion of training.
Applicants will be required to travel to all phases of the hiring process at their own expense. If a final job offer is extended, relocation expenses will not be authorized for first duty location.
The Secret Service prohibits employees from having visible body markings (including but not limited to tattoos, body art and branding) on the head, face, neck, hand and fingers (any area below the wrist bone) (exception a single conservative and unobtrusive tattoo in the form of a ring is authorized on one finger).

Job Responsibilities
CLEET training (Phase I & II) and/or a current/valid CLEET Private Security Guard license is required for this position. If you have not completed the training course, please do so prior to applying. Monitor OKC Fairgrounds property including buildings, grounds, and parking lots.
Check to ensure all buildings are secure.
Lock and unlock gates according to schedule.
Turn lights on and off according to schedule.
Conduct scan tours to ensure buildings are secure and to check lighting and maintenance issues after hours and on weekends.
Complete Daily Activity Report for the property documenting all activity, including, but not limited to:
Issues and actions taken including any issues after hours and on weekends.
Tag numbers for any unauthorized vehicles
Times and tag numbers for vehicles entering the property after hours.
Any police or emergency services activity on property
Advise Senior Security Officer of potential security problems.
Contact appropriate on-duty or on-call Fairgrounds staff for issues with buildings for the purpose of identifying the issue and devising corrective action.
Meet with Fairgrounds staff, and event staff, as needed, to address specific issues.
Communicate with other security officers and OCPD regarding issues that may affect the public and/or Fairgrounds.
Be visible on Fairgrounds throughout shift, patrolling at random.
Assist in enforcing Fairgrounds policies, regulations, and building codes of conduct by taking corrective action or reporting violations to event coordinators.
Be knowledgeable about the events scheduled on property to better assist the public with questions about location, show hours, etc.
Assist in the prevention or control of parking issues, as needed.
Maintain issued equipment throughout shift including handheld radio and body camera.
Maintain involvement with Fairgrounds staff daily.
Assist with emergency operation plans, as needed.
Assist in other departments, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Job Requirements
High school diploma, or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience in a similar position required.
CLEET unarmed/armed security training required. CLEET Private Security Guard license preferred.
Strong attention to detail required.
Report violations of state laws and city ordinances, as required.
Ability to handle the physical workload of this position required.

Additional Job Requirements - Work Schedule
Tour of duty hours is typically an eight- or twelve-hour shift.
Scheduling is completed by the Senior Security Officer
Days and hours may rotate based upon factors such as hours worked in a week, day of week and activities at the Fairgrounds.
Scheduling may be adjusted by the Senior Security Officer to best cover activities and special events at the Fairgrounds.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Extended hours, nights and weekends may be required during peak periods.
Frequent or continual movement from place to place with normal physical mobility, covering long distances with ease, managing assigned tasks throughout various indoor and outdoor locations within and around the property and in potentially inclement/severe weather conditions.
Regularly lift, carry and put away items weighing up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and carry heavier items and/or assist others in lifting heavier objects, as job demands.
Walk and/or stand for extended periods in addition to other prolonged physical exertions including seeing, hearing, reaching, grasping, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, crouching, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing and working in awkward positions and tight areas may be required.

Basic Purpose:
The Correctional Security Manager I (CSM I) will be assigned to the Correctional Operations & Real-Time Enhancement Center (CORE Center) which will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections' centralized, real-time security and intelligence operations. This position is responsible for supervising CORE Center personnel, coordinating 24/7 monitoring and response activities, and ensuring the effective integration of technology, intelligence, and communication to enhance safety, security, and operational awareness across all ODOC facilities and field operations.
Typical Functions:
Directly supervise and manage CORE Center staff operating a 24/7/365 real-time operations environment, ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, and performance accountability.
Oversee real-time monitoring of correctional facilities, perimeter systems, surveillance platforms, intelligence feeds, and emerging security incidents.
Serve as the primary coordination point for incident awareness, escalation, and communication between facilities, executive leadership, special response units, probation and parole, and external law enforcement partners.

Level Descriptor:

Education and Experience:
Education and experience requirements at this level consist of three years of experience in correctional officer or security work for a government or private corrections agency and the following statutory requirements of 57 O.S. § 510: a. The minimum age for service shall be twenty (20) years of age. The director shall have the authority to establish the maximum age for correctional officers entering service and b. possession of thirty (30) semester hours from an accredited college or university; or possession of a high school diploma acquired from an accredited high school or GED equivalent testing program and graduation from a training course conducted by or approved by the Department and certified by the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training either prior to employment or during the first six (6) months of employment.
Note: Successful completion of the GED test is based upon standards established by the Oklahoma Department of Education.
Special Requirements:

Dependable, honest, hardworking, willing to learn. Officers are responsible for the security of the facility and public areas of the casino.
Essential Functions:
Maintain a direct line of communication with their immediate supervisor and surveillance for any related incidents regarding the establishment.
Primarily responsible for the protection of a particular area, including observation and reporting of unusual, dangerous, or suspicious activities.
This position maintains a clean, safe and enjoyable environment.
Conducts such duties as report writing of internal, criminal or injury related matters, escorts of money and other important documentation, as required.
Patrols assigned work areas and assists customers and other departments, as needed.
Responsible for escorting money transfers to and from the vault, offices and the gaming machines on the floor and maintain security level to safeguard assets.
Monitor and patrol the parking lot of the gaming facility.
Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
Provides assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including detain for probable cause, those persons that may be involved in illegal acts and testimony in court and other administrative hearings.
Be aware of special promotions within the casino.
The Security Officer is uniformed and badged distinctively.
Provide friendly and courteous customer service.
Performs other duties and projects as required by management.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
Walking, or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing and visual acuity.
Frequent lifting (up to 30 lbs)
Working Conditions
Typical of that in a busy casino with heavy cigarette smoke accompanied with a variety of competing noises and communications.
Exposure to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with extremely irate or difficult guests or staff members.
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration
High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required.
Current Oklahoma State Security License or able to acquire one within 30 days of hire date.
Prior experience in law enforcement, military or civilian security Services required.
Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
Documents that establish both Identity and Employment Eligibility.
Kickapoo Tribal Gaming License.

Responsibilities include:
PATROL & SURVEILLANCE
Keep abreast of all security policies and know where they are located for quick reference.
Perform foot patrols of Foundation buildings and grounds.
Check interior and exterior doors. Ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure.
Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and others during business hours and/or special events.
Evaluate, address, and take necessary steps with suspicious persons, vehicles, or circumstances.
Report violations of company security, safety, and procedural policies.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE & INCIDENT HANDLING
Warn violators of rule infractions or violations, such as loitering, illegal parking, or carrying forbidden articles.
Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
Respond to alarms.
Act as first responder in a security emergency. Direct, coordinate, and carry out security responses to fire alarms, bomb threats, suspicious packages, hazardous material releases or spills, medical emergencies, mechanical or equipment failures, extreme weather, or other criminal actions.
Report hazardous conditions such as fire risks, water leaks, chemical spills, and malfunctioning equipment.
SECURITY SYSTEMS & ACCESS CONTROL
Monitor, utilize, operate, and maintain various security systems and equipment, including access control, video surveillance, key tracking, and alert systems.
Raise and lower parking gates; assist with manual operation during power outages.
Run reports to determine card activity history, individual clearances, or other relevant access data.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED and one year of public safety, law enforcement or military experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have CLEET ASG certification or equivalent Peace Officer certification from another state or completed Phase 1 and/or Phase 2 to become certified.
Valid Oklahoma Drivers License and license to carry a firearm required.
Must have knowledge of law enforcement policies and procedures.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate and engage individuals on a professional, friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
Good judgement and strong problem-solving ability. Must be honest, courageous, alert, observant, calm, well-disciplined, reliable, and loyal.
Ability to multitask and prioritize are a requirement.
Must demonstrate ability to learn, manage and operate electronic systems that support the security team.
While on duty, must wear OMRF-issued uniform and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
First aid and/or CPR certification strongly preferred.
Specialized training in security procedures and tactics and/or military training preferred.
ASIS International membership and/or APP certification a plus.
Work Hours
Flexible schedule. Main shifts will occur Monday through Friday between 7:30am to 5:00pm. No nights, weekends or holidays required. However, may have the opportunity to work additional hours covering for other security team members taking leave or during special events. In that case, shifts would vary depending on availability and special event details.
