Position Overview
We are seeking both junior and experienced Protective Intelligence Specialists to join our dynamic corporate team. This role combines advanced threat assessment, intelligence analysis, and protective intelligence functions that support in safeguarding our clients' interests across multiple jurisdictions and threat environments. This is an in office position in Milford, Michigan. No relocation assistance provided
Key Responsibilities
The Protective Intelligence Specialist will serve as a crucial bridge between intelligence gathering and physical security operations, focusing on:
Conducting comprehensive threat assessments using advanced analytical methodologies to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential risks to client safety and operations
Developing and maintaining intelligence collection plans that leverage both open-source and proprietary intelligence sources
Creating detailed threat actor profiles and pattern-of-life analyses to support protective operations
Producing actionable intelligence reports and briefings for executive protection teams and client stakeholders
Managing and analyzing data from multiple sources to identify emerging threats and trends
Coordinating with regional security teams to ensure seamless intelligence sharing and threat response
Developing and maintaining intelligence requirements and collection matrices for different operational environments
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in protective intelligence, threat assessment, or related intelligence analysis role
Demonstrated expertise in open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysis
Strong background in threat assessment methodologies and risk analysis frameworks
Proficiency in intelligence analysis tools and databases
Experience with social media monitoring and analysis for threat identification
Strong analytical writing skills with experience producing executive-level intelligence products
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
Gather intelligence information by field observation, confidential information sources, or public record.
Gather, analyze, correlate, or evaluate information from a variety of resources, such as law enforcement databases.
Prepare comprehensive written reports, presentations or charts based on research collection and analysis of intelligence data.
Use or maintain databases and software applications, such as geographic information systems mapping and AI tools.
Link or chart individuals, groups, or events to determine activities and interrelationships
Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
Plan and coordinate security operations for specific clients
Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies or operations requests
Review reports on incidents, contractor issues and manage problems
Be a member of a team and dedicated to the growth of the company

* Candidates are required to complete an intensive 13-week training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA, followed by specialized 18-week training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD. Failure to pass the training program may result in separation from the Secret Service.
* Sign a mobility agreement stating your willingness to accept assignments anywhere within the United States and overseas.
* Certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so, if you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959.
* Must have uncorrected vision of at least 20/100, correctable to 20/20 in each eye. LASIK, ALK, RK, and PRK surgeries are acceptable if required post-surgery visual tests are passed: Lasik (3 months), PRK (6 months), ALK/RK (1 year) waiting periods apply.
* Hearing loss, as measured by an audiometer, must not exceed 25 decibels (A.S.A. or equivalent I.S.O.) in either ear in the 500,1000 and 2000Hz ranges.
Qualifications

It is a physical fitness assessment which consists of four components (push-ups, sit-ups, Illinois Agility Run and a 1.5 Mile Run). General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Manual dexterity with comparatively free motion of fingers, wrist, elbows, shoulders, hips and knee joints is required. Arms, hands, legs and feet must function sufficiently in order for applicants to perform the duties satisfactorily.
Additional information
* Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. The first installment of $15,000 will be paid following successful completion of Secret Service Criminal Investigator training. A second installment of $10,000 will be paid following one year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. The final installment of $15,000 will be paid after a third year of service post training and an acceptable performance rating. Provision of these payments require the execution of a three-year Continued Service Agreement (CSA) with the agency. Newly hired employees who resign from the USSS prior to the expiration of the CSA will be required to repay the recruitment incentive. (NOTE: Eligibility is limited to "Newly appointed" Federal employees as defined by 5 CFR 575.102).
Applicants selected for this position will be required to sign a CSA before being assigned to an initial training class. The CSA will commit the applicant to a specified period of employment with the Secret Service upon the successful completion of training.
Applicants will be required to travel to all phases of the hiring process at their own expense. If a final job offer is extended, relocation expenses will not be authorized for first duty location.
The Secret Service prohibits employees from having visible body markings (including but not limited to tattoos, body art and branding) on the head, face, neck, hand and fingers (any area below the wrist bone) (exception a single conservative and unobtrusive tattoo in the form of a ring is authorized on one finger).

A Sheriff's Correctional Deputy Cadet enters training to join the ranks of Sheriff's Correctional Deputies who, under supervision, maintain order and security of inmates within a detention facility, transport from the correctional facilities to and from court, medical facilities, and other locations within and outside the County, supervise a crew of inmates in work projects throughout the County, and assist in the correction of antisocial attitudes and behavior. After passing the exam and screening processes, candidates are eligible to be hired as a Sheriff's Correctional Deputy and attend an Adult Correctional Academy training program as trainee.
Agility Examination: Prior to appointment as a cadet, each candidate must pass an agility test as part of the examination process. The agility test consists of three timed events: 99-yard obstacle course, drag a 165-lb bag for 32 feet, and a 500-yard run.
When hired, Sheriff's Correctional Deputy Cadets enter a 13-week Adult Correctional Academy training program. Benefits include medical, dental, and life insurance programs. Your status as trainee pursuant to the Fair Labor Standard Act does not entitle you to overtime or holiday pay while attending the Academy.
After Academy graduation, Cadets are eligible to be sworn in as a regular Sheriff's Correctional Deputy at the start of the following pay period, and be considered probationary employees of the Sheriff's Office.
A 5% salary increase is given for satisfactory job performance six months after appointment as a Sheriff's Correctional Deputy at Step 1.
Newly appointed Sheriff's Correctional Deputies must successfully complete an 18-month probationary period during which they will be required to complete a training program under the supervision of a training officer. The County supplies all safety equipment, as provided by law.
Advanced in-service training is available at the department level and in cooperation with local schools, state and national agencies. Regular County policy on tuition reimbursement applies to Sheriff's Correctional Deputies.
Upon graduation from the Adult Correctional Academy, it is a condition of employment that newly appointed Sheriff's Correctional Deputies must sign a payroll deduction authorization form providing for deduction of union membership dues or an equivalent service fee. A thirty (30) calendar day cancellation period is provided.

This is a highly cross-functional role, where you will serve as a primary liaison between the SOT, Purchasing, MP&L (Material Planning & Logistics), STA (Supplier Technical Assistance), SRM (Supplier Risk Management), IT and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, fostering an environment of high collaboration and accountability.
Responsibilities:
Business Process Optimization & Training Leadership:
Design, develop, and implement optimized business processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that reduce bureaucracy, increase speed, and enhance operational efficiency of the strategic stockpile process.
Take ownership of the parts bank build/stockpile procedure, ensuring effective deployment, adoption, and continuous refinement based on performance data and feedback.
Develop, deliver, and continuously improve comprehensive training programs and materials (e.g., workshops, guides, e-learning modules) for SOT team members and cross-functional partners on new tools, optimized processes, and best practices.
Lead Strategic Stockpile Help Desk for SOT and cross-functional stakeholders to ask questions on process/procedures/tools.
Coach and mentor team members on new processes, tools, and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and High-Impact Stakeholder Management:
Provide guidance on the strategic stockpile process and where to find/gather the information required to complete forms and attain appropriate approvals.
Serve as a primary liaison between Purchasing, MP&L (Material Planning & Logistics), STA (Supplier Technical Assistance), SRM (Supply Risk Management), and other relevant stakeholders in strategic stockpile /bank build execution.
Facilitate discussions and workshops with cross-functional teams to align on process changes, project requirements, training needs, and execution.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting for Action:
Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and leading indicators related to supply chain risk and operational excellence, providing actionable intelligence.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data used for monthly metrics filings, weekly operations reviews, and executive-level reporting, supporting fast and informed decisions.
Develop and maintain tracking mechanisms for project milestones, process adherence, and training completion rates, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Process Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations, Industrial Engineering or a related quantitative field.
5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, business analysis, process improvement, training, or a related analytical role within the automotive industry and complex global supply chains.
3+ years of demonstrated experience managing workstreams or significant contributions to cross-functional projects with emphasis on rapid deployment and execution.

Position Summary:
The Chief of Public Safety & Emergency Management is responsible for the day-to-day operation and supervision of the Public Safety department. The Chief oversees campus law enforcement personnel as well as non-sworn civilian staff. The department is responsible for providing law enforcement service and medical first response to the college community.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all law enforcement, safety, and response to campus emergencies for the College; respond to and take a leadership role in major safety, criminal, medical, or other critical incidents.
Perform all law enforcement functions including patrol; investigation of criminal cases; inventory control of all necessary supplies needed for operation of department; operate and maintain the CLEMIS law enforcement system; Michigan Training Network, and Law Enforcement Information Network.
Act as primary point of contact and liaison with Federal/State/Local Law Enforcement involving criminal activity and investigations on campus.
Lead the Crisis Management Team (CMT). Manage and oversee emergency notices to the campus community using the system designated by the College. Lead the response to any critical incident on campus. Annually update the College's Crisis Management Plan.
Act as primary liaison with the Washtenaw County Emergency Operations Center during major natural/man-made events affecting the College.
Develop Incident Action Plans (IAPs) as necessary to provide a coherent means to communicate the overall incident objectives in the context of both operational and support activities.
Develop tactical operational processes and procedures as necessary under the Incident Command System (ICS).
Responsible for the College's compliance with Federal Laws concerning Clery Act compliance. Maintain the Daily Crime Log in compliance with the Clery Act and serve as a primary contributor to the Annual Security Report (ASR).
Understand and act as a Responsible Employee under Title IX.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, training information, and procedure manuals.
Ability to read and analyze professional journals, technical procedures, government regulations, and best practice summations. Revise procedures and training based on analysis.
Ability to give presentations and answer questions from college personnel, the general public, students, other members of the campus community, or media.
Manage and oversee College compliance with required Federal or State fire, severe weather, or emergency evacuation drills.
Provide training to the campus community on active shooter situations, lockdown, security procedures, and crime awareness and prevention.
Serve on the College's behavioral intervention team; evaluate risks and behaviors of individuals that pose a concern to the campus community. Provide social intelligence gathering and analysis along with threat assessment expertise.
Ability to investigate incidents; research backgrounds through web, social media, and online tools such as Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry and Offender Tracking Information System; effectively question complainants, respondents, and witnesses involved in incidents; review and capture video of incidents; and examine/analyze evidence.
Ability to be certified through the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards to enforce State Law regarding criminal offenses, and parking violations on campus including representing the College in District and Circuit Court on criminal complaints and well as traffic citations.
Be available and on-call 24/7 for emergencies involving safety and security such as crimes on campus, severe weather, power outages, trouble-shooting the electronic access control system, or to manage other critical incidents.
Minimum Qualifications:

JOB SUMMARY: Performs general security work within the Jail; works under the direction of a sergeant; members of this classification are deputized for specific functions within the Jail only; must be willing to work weekends, holidays and irregular hours; performs related duties as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
* Guards inmates in the Jail in accordance with established policies, regulations and procedures;
* Observes conduct and behavior of inmates to prevent disturbances and escapes;
* Inspects locks, window bars, grills, doors and gates for tampering;
* Searches inmates and cells for contraband;
* Guards and directs inmates during work assignments;
* Patrols assigned areas for evidence of forbidden activities, infraction of rules and unsatisfactory behavior of inmates;
* Processes inmates in and out of the jail through the booking area;
* Oversees visitation procedures and enforces visitation regulations;
* Distributes meals, bedding and supplies to inmates;
* Obtains medical aid for inmates if needed;
* Supervises and is responsible for the cleanliness of the Jail;
* Assists in maintaining Jail records.

Primary Responsibilities Apply complex direction, including standard operating procedures and operations manuals documentation as well as appropriate oral and written guidance received.

Basic Qualifications The ability to learn the range of pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents which affect the program Effective problem-solving, analytic, written and oral communication skills Capacity to work as part of a team to provide multi-faceted intelligence products and support to operational units and Intelligence Community components Knowledge with Microsoft Outlook applications Ability to work with and engage the customer daily Active Top Secret clearance and eligible for a CI Polygraph Preferred Qualifications Experience working with IC tools and databases Degree in security or intelligence studies with a recommended focus on terrorism or other transnational security threats is highly desired Two to seven years of Experience Familiarity with programs and software such as Palantir, ESRI, Intel Analyst, ETC.
Completion certificate from a commercial, military, or US government all source analysis training course or a specialized intelligence career field.
Skills and attributes for success:- Drafting and development of technical documentation related to a variety of projects in the IT space.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to establish technical processes and procedures.
- Document projects through the SDLC.
- Provide status reports for multiple ongoing projects and related documentation efforts.
- Assist with both user and admin level documentation.
