From where do we know all information about military demographics? We analyzed 7,005 militaries resumes to find out what the average demographics are for the job position. Just to be clear, by demographics we mean the study of population-based factors like age, race, and sex. On top of scouring through resumes, we also took note of job proposals from employers and Census Bureau data. And guess what? We found some pretty interesting information.

Military Gender Ratio
Among militaries, 28.1% of them are women compared to 66.8% which are men.

Military Ethnic Breakdown
The most common ethnicity among militaries is White, which makes up 55.7% of all militaries. Comparatively, there are 18.8% of the Hispanic or Latino ethnicity and 14.9% of the Black or African American ethnicity.

By looking over 7,005 militaries resumes, we figured out that the average military enjoys staying at their job for 1-2 years for a percentage of 29%.

This chart breaks down the ages of military employees. Interestingly enough, the average age of militaries is 20-30 years old, which represents 77% of the population.
