The Military and Veteran Recruiter will lead United Airlines' strategic efforts to attract, source, and place qualified military personnel and veterans into open positions across the organization. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.

Own the File from Intake to Trial: Once a case is retained, you become the day-to-day case manager and paralegalreviewing discovery (CID/NCIS/OSI reports, Article 32 transcripts, MRE 412/513/514/615 packets), drafting timelines and summaries for our experts, coordinating psychiatric evaluations and travel, assembling exhibit books, and supporting civilian defense counsel.

Client & Attorney Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between referring civilian counsel, detailed military defense counsel, the accused service member, and our medical experts.

The MVLDP is designed to:

Develop critical capabilities and experience the breadth and depth of Johnson & Johnson through robust rotations which are chosen based on personal development, experience, interest, and business need; after successful completion from the program, participants will move into full-time roles
The rotations can range across: Supply Chain, Human Resources, Marketing, Procurement, Brand Management, Sales, and others. Further, you will have the opportunity to shape business outcomes across Johnson & Johnson's business segments, MedTech and Innovative Medicine
Locations:
This position will be rotational in nature with most rotations located in our New Jersey and Pennsylvania Operating Companies or Corporate Headquarters.
Qualifications:
· Must be transitioning from active-duty military service or less than 4 years removed, 0-2 years transitioning from active-duty is preferred
· A minimum of 4 years military leadership experience is required, 5-10 years is preferred
· A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required, an Advanced Degree is preferred
· Relocation to the New Jersey or Pennsylvania area for the duration of the program is required
· Must have demonstrated successful experience as a people manager and/or leader with a proven track record of success
· Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in ambiguity, and deliver results
· Must have excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills (both oral and written)
· Desire to transfer military experience into a career in the healthcare sector with Johnson & Johnson
This position is eligible for a sign-on and/or early incentive bonus.

Lead root cause investigations of field hardware failures, partnering with Product Support Engineering, Design Engineering, and the Failure Analysis lab.
Participate in USAF and Foreign Military Safety Investigations
Provide technical expertise on Failure Modes and Affects for safety risk assessments
Provide troubleshooting expertise and tech data interpretation for customers and test operations
Travel as required to support failure investigations, Analytical Condition Inspections, and customer conferences.
Establish plans and coordinate activities of multi-disciplined teams to achieve technical requirements, schedules, and contract commitments
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments
Participate as a presenter or reviewer for internal/external technical and program reviews
Be a key participant or owner in developing and executing customer funded improvement programs
Assure proper documentation of technical data consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or a similar discipline focused on mechanical or aerothermal design) from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in an engineering position.
