Responsibilities*
This is a grant-funded position. This position is term limited and will start with a one-semester term with the option for renewal. Student team members may be asked to perform the following tasks.
Event and Program Planning
* Support all logistical aspects of event planning such as effective tracking of attendees, venue confirmation, assist with flyer and brochure creation, key equipment reservation, presenter confirmation, sign in sheet creation, securing vendors, set up and close out.
* Assist in creating first year experience curriculum, practices, and experiences to deliver high quality programming for both group session and individualized communications.
Welcome Desk Coverage (as necessary)
* Remain up-to-date with all communications across the office ranging from front desk coverage, program calendars (e-version and physical boards), and daily front desk procedures.
* Ensure equipment and resources are stocked daily and relay key updates to the administrative assistants and/or staff throughout their shift.
Communications/Marketing
* Capture programming history (pictures, documents, presentation outlines) to help market key program events online and in print form.
* Assist with the development of an overarching marketing and communications strategy for event promotion and closeouts.
Outreach
* Represent the program at internal and external community spaces to provide awareness of the mission, programs, and goals of the program(s).
* Serve as a liaison with community partners/campus departments.
Data and Assessment
* Routinely collect data to provide to the database management staff member.
* Communicate with database management staff member for tasks involving data collection, entry, and assessment.
Peer Mentoring
* Engage program participants though an individualized, holistic, peer mentoring model as needed.
* Compile campus and community resources to effectively respond to student needs.
Required Qualifications*

* Adequate computer and writing skills

POSITION SUMMARY
Borden Dairy is seeking a quality-driven and efficient professional to join our team as a Pasteurizer.â¯In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the pasteurization of raw milk. You will maintain proper and efficient operation of all pasteurizing, blending, separating, and product transfer systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaboratesâ¯with Milk Receivers to ensure proper product rotation of raw milk inventory.â¯
Works closely with the plant laboratory to ensure products are formulated and tested to meet plant requirements
Blends, mixes, and prepares products for production
Deliver product to fillers to avoid downtime on production linesâ¯
Minimize product loss
Responsible for pulling product samples and documenting to the lab as necessary
Alert leaders of any Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes which become non-compliant with specified requirements
Assists in dumping reprocess daily and maintains documentation
This is an active position that requires constant focus and activity. Pasteurizers are involved in pasteurizing, blending, and cleaning continuously
Perform all necessary Clean in Place (CIP) of all tanks, line circuits, and associated equipment
Monitor and document chemical concentrations to ensure proper cleaning of all equipment
Perform regular gasket replacement and valve inspections as directed by supervision
Record all necessary documentation on HTST and CIP recording charts to maintain regulatory compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Overtime and weekend work is occasionally required
