Has a basic understanding of the company's customers, products and services. Seeks assistance and ask questions when confronted with unfamiliar situations. • Performs the tasks necessary maintain an efficient flow of incoming materials, inventories, and outbound shipments of products to be able to effectively serve our customers. • Loads and unloads trucks and transports materials, product and supplies in and out of the warehouse using both powered and non-powered equipment, as necessary. • Organizes and maintains pallet racks and bins in an orderly and safe manner. • Maintains and stocks assorted shipping supplies and alerts the supervisor in a timely manner when supplies are low. • Processes customer orders by reviewing the pick or transfer ticket. Pulls the correct material, and packages the orders and transfers properly for shipment using a variety of hand and powered tools, as needed. Stock is always to be reviewed by two warehouse employees before being delivered to verify accuracy. • Communicates effectively with their coworkers and supervisor in the warehouse, along with other members of the Operations, IMS, Outside sales, and Customer service teams. Seeks assistance, as necessary, to resolve more complex issues in an effective manner. • Communicates any suggested changes to policies and procedures to supervisor for review. • Keeps the supervisor aware in a timely manner of any issues needing the supervisor's involvement. • Maintains timely and accurate records and reports, as required. • Observe good housekeeping and safety habits. Requirements • Has related experienced and has demonstrated the skills and ability to be an effective warehouse employee with the company. • High school education is required. • Has the necessary training to be proficient in the position. • Has excellent communications and interpersonal skills to be able to interact effectively with others to meet customer needs. • Ability to perform basic math calculations such as decimal/fraction conversions and reading measuring tools. • Must be able to obtain/maintain a tow motor license, and operate it safely in order protect themselves and others around them. • Has basic computer skills and is proficient with all the related company systems and programs. • Has basic analytical and problem-solving abilities to meet the requirements of the position. • Effective time management skills in prioritizing and addressing multiple responsibilities at one time. • High energy with a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs. • High level of personal and professional integrity. • Is committed to the company's core values. • Attention to detail in every aspect of the role within the organization.     To receive all incoming shipments and move to locations. Process all outgoing shipments to Distribution Center and customers, accurately and in a timely manner. Requirements Shipping: Post accurately for all outgoing palletized shipments, with either “in transit” or “outbound” in AX (computer). Assemble and submit all shipment paperwork neatly and in a timely manner. Load all outbound trucks. Receiving: Unload all incoming shipments. Perform physical checks of all incoming shipments, verifying counts and ensuring product is in good condition. Maintain integrity of Receipt list files. Accurately perform entry of all received packing slips in a timely manner. Assemble and submit all receiving paperwork neatly and in a timely manner. Notify Production Manager immediately of all damaged or erroneous shipments. Ensure all incoming product is put away and all paperwork processed by days end. Inventory Movement: Move raw material stock to press areas as needed. Return partial rolls to main stock areas when press operators are done with rolls. Tag rolls of stock with quantity when returned to main stock area. Verify inventory placement accuracy by performing physical inventory and cycle counts, as required.
