We are currently seeking a Packaging Operator to join the Fond du Lac, WI team.
Pay: $21.00 USD per hour (+ $1.00 night-shift differential)
Shift: Nights, 6PM-6AM with every other weekend off.
Responsibilities
* Packaging Operators are responsible to set up, adjust and operate packaging equipment on a moving assembly line following established procedures.
Requirements
* Ideal candidates have previous machine operator experience or equivalent skills.
* Strong mechanical aptitude.
* Licensed forklift operator or willingness to learn.

Packaging Technician-3 weeks PTO-Monday thru Friday

The Packaging Technician is responsible for the operation of all packaging equipment including the multi-horn packaging equipment and palletizer. They are responsible for packaging finished goods and moving pallets of product. Packaging Technicians are required to utilize the company ERP system (Plex) as required. Packaging Technicians responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Safety
* Perform all work activities in a manner to ensure Workplace Safety.
* Must be able to competently perform Lockout/Tagout on packaging equipment.
* Wear all required PPE for specific tasks.
* Quality
* Visually examine all finished product bags for defects like; are bags properly sealed, are there any leaks and is the printing readable.
* Visually examine all product pallets to make sure bags are palletized neatly with no overhang, no residual powders, or unsealed bags.
* Packaging
* Package products as specified by the customer requirement sheets.
* Maintain all equipment in proper working order by performing production level maintenance when necessary.
* Write "Work Orders" for equipment repairs into the CMMS whenever needed.
* Perform product cutbacks when required.
* Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform other related duties as assigned.
* Material Handling
* Operate Industrial Powered Trucks (Forklifts) Safely.
* Safely operate stretch hood wrappers and top-feed palletizers.
* Assist in wrapping pallets and loading trucks.
* Cap & Band pallet according to customer specifications.
* Load Pallets, Slip Sheets, and Stretch Wrap as required.
* Perform special bag labeling and bag adjustments.
* Safely load and/or offload Flatbeds, Containers, and Vans (WHSE).

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Visually inspect product vials for defects, media filled vials for evidence of contamination (turbidity), packaging components for quality;
* Follow all cGMPs, complete data recording contemporaneously in associated BPRs/EBRs and inventory management systems;
* Assemble product and components for packaging operation according to production schedule, bill of materials (BOMs), or instruction from the assistant supervisor or supervisor. Perform associated inventory adjustments and material movements in inventory management systems;
* Setup packaging line and equipment. Safely operate equipment for conducting packaging operations and packaging component preparation operations. Distribute components, supplies and product to packaging stations as needed to maintain packaging operations;
* Unload products from storage containers and examine for defect in container's closure systems or product content. Check for correct lot information on product containers and components;
* Organize and remove product in and out of 2-8C cold rooms. Secure and store all in-process products and components in their proper areas. Move skids, transit trays, hand trucks and other containers of product, components, bottles, equipment or other items as required for efficient operation of the department. Seal, stack, and secure cases of packaged product on skids for transport to shipping department at the conclusion of packaging operations;
* Perform line clearances, count and reconcile product and components. Perform all functions in a safe and cGMP compliant manner (i.e. recording information in log books and BPR/EBRs);
* Cleans, inspects, and maintains production equipment/facilities;
* Performs in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment and makes necessary adjustments (if necessary) to reduce process/equipment failures;

Job DescriptionDescription:
We are looking for a machine operator to join our 2nd shift team in Gardena, CA. The Machine Operator plays a critical role in the operation and maintenance of machinery in our sheet metal manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth production operations across a range of metal products, maintaining product quality, and adhering to safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate various metalworking machinery such as presses, shears, and roll formers.
Set up equipment for production runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor machine operations and production processes to meet quality and quantity targets.
Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to prevent downtime.
Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials used and machine performance.
Accurately use scanners to issue and complete work ticket reports.
Assist with receiving, inspecting, and organizing materials.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient production processes.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or metalworking environment preferred.
Forklift operation experience preferred, but not required.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production orders.
Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and provided.
Physical Demands:
The role requires the ability to handle various physical demands, including:
Regularly lift, push, or pull materials, which may occasionally exceed 50 lbs.

Compensation:

Pay: $20.50/hr + $3.00/hr shift differential.
Shift: Nights 6pm-6am. Every other weekend off!
Packaging Operators are responsible to set up, adjust and operate packaging equipment on a moving assembly line following established procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Learn and understand the basic function and operation of all packaging equipment
* Perform each and all packaging line operations including
* Setting up Bottles and Scoops
* Weighing Bottles and adjusting as necessary
* Watching Capping Machine and hand tightening if necessary
* Operating Sealer Machine
* Moving Boxes and Palletizing Finished Product
* Rotate into various line positions when required
* Ensure that packaging specifications, requirements and standards are met
* Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work area
* Remove all materials from the previous run before the start of the new run

Qualifications:
* Previous exposure in a manufacturing environment.
