Your key responsibilities will include: Assist with preparing meals according to planned menus, following dietary guidelines and proper portion control, to include special diet items - such as pureed or mechanically altered foods, to meet individual dietary requirements. Support residents with menu selections based on their individual needs and preferences. Serve meals in the dining room or deliver trays to resident rooms, ensuring accuracy and adherence to dietary restrictions. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, dining area, and food service equipment in accordance with food safety standards. Help manage inventory by monitoring food and supply levels, reporting shortages, and assisting with restocking. Accurately document resident food and fluid intake as required to meet regulatory standards. Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff regarding dietary needs or concerns; to ensure smooth and efficient meal service. What We're Looking For Prior experience in Food Service or Healthcare setting is preferred. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry food trays, and perform other tasks related to food service Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.(25% of time), while standing/walking 95% of time. Availability to work weekends & holidays when required. Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow dietary restrictions and special diet instructions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills & ability to work effectively in a team environment. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry food trays, and perform other tasks related to food service. Additional Requirements Must pass background check and drug screening.
