Responsibilities
Implementation of physician's prescribed plan of care
Patient assessments and coordination of care
Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
Compliant, timely documentation of care provided in system of record
Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
Responsible for accepting and writing verbal orders from physicians as required and for obtaining co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders
Follow up with physician, client, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and/or changes in client condition
Performs other appropriate duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
TB skin test (current within last 12 months)

Job Summary
The Associate Dean assists the Dean of the College in administering the operations of the John H. Lounsbury College of Education, giving special attention to the objectives of undergraduate and graduate education.
The Associate Dean has leadership and signatory authority in specific areas of responsibility and for College business in the Dean's absence.
The position is a 12-month appointment reporting to the Dean of the College.
This responsibility includes the major duties listed below along with illustrative examples of the tasks associated with them.
Responsibilities
Administration -
Promote research and intellectual contributions by faculty, including faculty/student research.
Address challenges and opportunities related to retention and timely graduation.
Provide direction and leadership for the College of Education.
Coordinate revisions for the University catalog, College brochures, promotional information, and other publications.
Work with the Administrative Assistant to generate, edit, and publish College e-Newsletter in concert with the CoE.
Collaborate with the Dean on budget decisions and staff/faculty issues and conflicts.
Collaborate with Department Chairs in search processes for faculty and staff.
Review and act on student petitions, grade appeals, and grievances in collaboration with Department Chairs and the Dean.
Work with the Dean and Advancement Officer on assigned initiatives.
Teaching assignments in the Department of appointment may be required.
Accept other duties as assigned by the Dean of the College.
Management -
Develop information for budgets, payroll, and reports.
Provide leadership, oversight, and coordination of faculty and staff hiring and recruitment efforts, as well as professional development activities; staff management, facilities and operations including orientation for new and part-time faculty. Serve as liaison for classified personnel, work study students, and graduate assistants, in cooperation with the Dean, Department Chairs, and Director of Graduate Programs.
Manage College facilities and equipment in a manner that promotes quality learning in classroom and laboratories.
Manage the College-wide graduate programming. Serve on the University Graduate Council.
Review and approve grant proposals.
Lead annual scholarship award process for undergraduate and graduate students.
Manage the electronic-wide promotion and tenure process.
Liaison -
Serve on governance and other committees and act as representative for the Dean of the College in the absence of the Dean.
Serve as the College's liaison on the University Strategic Planning Steering Committee.
Work with varied populations of faculty, staff, and students.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement -
Lead assessment efforts in the College of Education. Supervise, manage, and promote continuous improvement through certification and program evaluation, including the supervision of staff.
Serve as Leader of the Educator Preparation Stakeholders Council and the liaison with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC).
Responsible for accreditation application/renewal processes and assurance of continuing compliance with accreditation standards where appropriate. Participate in program reviews for evaluation of existing degree, certification, and other academic programs and implement improvements to enhance the quality of instruction, academic programs, and research.
Use data to inform decision-making.
Coordinate curriculum development and revisions and managing online system.
Strategic Planning -
Coordination of short- and long-term plans formulated by the Dean of the College based on goals and the mission of the College and the University. Assisting the Dean by serving as the College's representative and liaison with other College/University offices, divisions, and committees. Among the tasks associated with the duty are: (1) ensuring adherence to the Georgia Professional Standards' admissions policies and guidelines for the appropriate College; (2) working with programs to support the University's educational mission; and (3) participating in student recruitment, orientation, and advisement programs.
Work collaboratively across units and build collaborative teams and organizational structures to advance the strategic objectives of the University.

Earned doctoral degree in an academic discipline represented within the John H. Lounsbury College of Education and sufficient academic and scholarly achievement to be eligible for appointment as a Full Professor with tenure associated with a current academic discipline within the College.

Westat is currently seeking motivated individuals to work as team leaders on an important study providing comprehensive data about children's learning and development, transition into kindergarten, and progress through elementary school. The Early Childhood Longitudinal Study, Kindergarten Class of 2023-24 (ECLS-K:2024) is an important study providing comprehensive data about children's learning and development, transition into kindergarten, and progress through elementary school.
The primary duties of the ECLS-K:2024 Team Leader are to serve as the point of contact for participating schools in an assignment, lead a team of assessors, and oversee the data collection activities for assigned schools. The team leader will also conduct in-person child assessments at schools or at a participant's home, as well as telephone or in-person parent interviews.
Westat has a long-standing policy of protecting the health of our staff and the general public. Based on recommendations from the CDC and other public health authorities, we continue to require staff to protect and monitor their health while working on their assignments. The use of personal protective equipment or screening activities may be required, depending upon the specific study's protocols, subject to approved accommodations under applicable law.
