As the first team member a guest encounters inside Eddie Merlot's, the Host is responsible for welcoming guests and offering superior hospitality to all visitors. The Host greets guests either in person or by phone to schedule reservations and assists guests as they enter the restaurant. Hosts are responsible for effectively coordinating and controlling the flow of guests at the front of the restaurant by greeting, seating, and acknowledging departures of guests. Correctly take, confirm, and document reservation. Acknowledge and greet arriving guests; invite departing guests to return. Assist guests with coat check on arrival and departure as needed.
