Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager Intern include but are not limited to the following:
Collaborate with project team to plan, setup, and manage the Abercrombie Solar project.
Navigate and use Egan s project management systems and processes, including Milestone Based Delivery (MBD).
Assist senior staff by observing, learning, and doing the following:
Attend job site meetings.
Assist QA/QC process via visual inspections and documentation
Assist with productivity tracking (field verifications, data entry, etc.)
Coordinating material receiving, logistics, and documentation
Promote a positive safety culture by following Egan s safety policies.
Participate in construction document analysis to develop clear and consistent interpretations.
Compose and edit letters, memos, reports, and procedures; assist with change orders, project billings, and change request pricing.
Process day-to-day administrative items (i.e. supply requisitions, RFI s, submittals, shop drawings, procurement, take-offs, etc.) as directed.
Build strong internal partnerships; work collaboratively with other Egan groups to support Egan s Mission, Vision and Values.
Use basic understanding of financials and reporting to support a PM in related responsibilities.
Perform additional duties and assignments as requested/needed.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a two or four year degree in Construction Management, Electrical Construction, Engineering, Design, or related field.
0-2 years of construction and/or general business experience.
Daily on-site presence at project location.
Available to start in May/June 2026.
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for the industry.
Outstanding organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities.
Courteous, professional, diplomatic, and highly motivated.
Anticipates and adjusts to changing priorities and methods; willingly takes on new tasks and challenges.
Excellent MS Office and Google Suite skills and ability/desire to learn new software systems.
Working Conditions
Performance of duties will be at project site location.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
Exposure to loud noise, dirt, and exposure to the elements are to be expected on job sites.
Climbing ladders/stairs, uneven ground, bending, kneeling, and twisting are to be expected on job sites.
