Assist the Store Manager to manage the store as to maximize controllable profit and minimize expenses, while maintaining Harris Teeter Standards in a union free environment. Ultimate responsibility of a retail store with sales ranging from $75,000 to $750,000 plus per week. Supervise up to 250 associates in the retail store. Is responsible with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned departments.

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Harris Teeter's policies and standards. Responsibilities will include interviewing and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; assist in appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Perform duties of all store associates as appropriate.
