Purpose of the Position
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AST is responsible for reporting to and partnering with a 14-member Board of Directors to set the mission and vision of the AST and define its strategic direction. The CEO will ensure that resources are in place to accomplish important mission goals, recruit and retain staff, and build the kind of culture which supports the Society's mission. The AST collaborates with other transplant focused organizations, industry, universities, colleges, regulatory agencies, and other health related agencies, nationally and internationally.
The CEO is the key management leader of the American Society of Transplantation and will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the AST's staff, programs, and execution of its mission. This organizational leader will develop a deep knowledge of field, core programs, operations, and business plans to ensure success across internal operating responsibilities including: developing short- and long-range plans; implementing plans directly and through four direct reports and nineteen total AST staff; preparing and monitoring budgets; implementing policies and procedures; and providing continuity in the organization.

Lead the mission and vision of the organization, in partnership with the Board of Directors, ensuring members receive high-quality services.

The Candidate
Experience and Professional Qualifications
The CEO will make it a priority to define AST's priorities and direction. The role is both a strategic and tactical one, and the position will require the incumbent to assess and evaluate strategies, further AST's brand recognition to differentiate itself from other like-minded organizations and prove successful in fundraising efforts, and lead existing/hire new talent to ensure the industry finds AST to be their professional home with ample opportunities for advancement and professional growth. The CEO will invest heavily in training, mentoring, and capacity building at AST and actively promote AST to build its financial reserves and goodwill. Job Description
Under the direction of the Health & Wellness Director, the principal purpose of this position is to act in the absence of the Health & Wellness Director.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 Yearly
Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinating and managing all nursing and assisted living team members providing direct care of assisted living services
Makes recommendations to the Health & Wellness Director regarding staffing levels and participates in recruitment, selection, and orientation of new team members
Determines daily assignments to assure that residents' needs are met
Assures compliance with all Federal and State regulations
Conducts assessments, as often as necessary based on the resident's condition
Orders, stores, administers, documents, and disposes of medications as per Federal, State, and Agency regulations
Participates in the RN on-call coverage with the Health & Wellness Director, as determined by the community
Coordinates ancillary support services for residents
Provides competency training for all client care aides with return demonstration
Serves as a liaison to families, health care agencies, emergency response teams, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers
Provides first aid as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current NJ nursing license (RN ) in good standing
Two (2) or more years' experience in a supervisory role in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care or Skilled Care
Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
Physical Abilities
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.

JOB SUMMARY
The Creative Arts Therapist is a direct service position that has the responsibility for the provision of creative arts therapy within the YWCA Eastern Union County PALS Program. The areas of focus are creative arts therapy (dance/movement, drama, art) individual and group, intake and assessment, parent education, and documentation. All positions within the shelter will be trained for answering the hotline, and for coverage of backup shifts.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SPECIALIZED TRAINING
Master's degree in creative art therapy or equivalent.
Must be Board Certified (ATR-BC) or eligible.
Must have prior counseling and/or clinical experience.
Experience with children, domestic violence, and/or trauma survivors very strongly preferred.
Bilingual/bicultural a substantive plus
Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking skills.
Knowledge of computer programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
Bilingual in Spanish.

Creative Arts Work
Provide individual, group and family creative arts therapies to participants of the Organization PALS program.
Ensure that age-appropriate safety planning is integrated into creative arts sessions where possible and appropriate.
Ensure that age-appropriate information regarding respectful behavior and healthy boundaries is integrated into creative arts sessions where possible and appropriate.
Parent Education
Educate parents, where appropriate, regarding the dynamics of domestic violence and the effects of witnessing on children.

This role also involves teaching environmental education and conference programs as assigned, ensuring participant safety, proper facility use, and high-quality experiences for all guest.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Program Management
· Assist the Summer Camp Director with the planning, organization and implementation of all resident camp programs.
· Act as a host for group programs
· Ensure programs are aligned with camp goals, safety standards and YMCA values.
Program Delivery
· Consistently follow risk management, camp rules, regulations, and safety guidelines.
· Lead a variety of camp activities including, but not limited to, archery, boating, climbing wall, hikes, team building, campfire programs, science classes, and seasonally appropriate activities.
