Jim Roth serves as chief executive officer of Huron. He is a founding member of the company and has more than 38 years of experience working with the premier research universities, academic health centers, healthcare organizations and nonprofit research institutions across the U.S. and abroad.

Kunal Kapoor, CFA, is chief executive officer of Morningstar. Before assuming his current role in 2017, he served as president, responsible for product development and innovation, sales and marketing, and driving strategic prioritization across the firm. Since joining Morningstar in 1997 as a data analyst, Kapoor has held a variety of roles at the firm, including leadership positions in research and innovation. He served as director of mutual fund research and was part of the team that launched Morningstar Investment Services, Inc., before moving on to other roles including director of business strategy for international operations, and later, president and chief investment officer of Morningstar Investment Services. During his tenure, he has also led Morningstar.com® and the firm’s data business as well as its global products and client solutions group. Kapoor holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and environmental policy from Monmouth College and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago, and served on the board of PitchBook, a private firm that provides a comprehensive private equity and venture capital database, prior to its acquisition by Morningstar in late 2016. Kapoor is also a member of the board of trustees of The Nature Conservancy in Illinois. In 2010, Crain’s Chicago Business named him to its annual 40 Under 40 class, a list that includes professionals from a variety of industries who are contributing to Chicago’s business, civic, and philanthropic landscape.

He has worked as President and CEO at Oblicore; Division President at Matrixx Marketing; and President and CEO at YP, The Real Yellow Pages®. Nathan Paul Myhrvold (born August 3, 1959), formerly Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft, is co-founder of Intellectual Ventures and the principal author of Modernist Cuisine and its successor books. Myhrvold was listed as co-inventor on 17 U.S. patents at Microsoft and is co-inventor on over 900 other U.S. patents issued to his corporation and its affiliates.

Martine Ferland is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercer. During her seven years at Mercer she’s leveraged her expertise in health, wealth and career to bring value to clients across the globe. She is an executive for Mercer’s benefit technology business, Thomsons. As one of Mercer’s most engaged leaders around diversity and charitable outreach, Martine is the Executive Sponsor of Mercer’s global volunteering program, Mercer Cares. She has participated in charity runs with Mercer colleagues around the world, and has a passion for spending time in the mountains. Martine is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.Prior to joining Mercer, Martine spent 25 years with a leading HR consulting firm in the US and Canada. During this time she served in leadership positions overseeing businesses in North America and Asia, as well being a Director on the Board for Towers Perrin. Martine has a bachelor's degree in actuarial science from Laval University.

John M. Dowd serves as chief executive officer at Fiduciary Trust Company International. He is a member of the Board of Directors and chairs the Management and Operating Committees. Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust in 2016, he served as executive vice president and senior managing director for Wells Fargo Wealth Management, where he oversaw the Northeast region. Mr. Dowd’s previous positions also included serving as head of wealth management for Bank of New York. He is a past chairman of the trust and investments section of the New York State Banker’s Association.

Gregory C. Case (born 1963) is the chief executive officer of Aon plc. He has held this position since April 2005.
