In 1961 Jordan-Milton sold fewer than 20 pieces of equipment, but the partners persevered.
Jordan-Milton moved into the state of Maine in 1982 through the acquisition of Arnold Machinery Company, which had Caterpillar dealerships in Portland and Bangor.
In 1991, Jordan-Milton acquired Southworth Machinery and the company name became Southworth-Milton.
In 2002 the Precision Husky line of grinders was added to Southworth-Milton’s forestry products.
