The internship will run from approximately February to May, will have a schedule that takes place between normal business hours 9:00am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday) based on availability, and earns $18 per hour for up to 35 hours per week. While the position is preferred to be held in-person, opportunities to be conducted fully remote are available, on a case-by-case basis. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIGITAL DESIGN INTERN AT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL
Our internship program provides a hands-on learning experience with one of the world's most visible sporting events. It provides behind-the-scenes access to the inner-workings of a communications department in a global sports organization. The Digital Design Intern will work with the Senior Director of Communications, in coordination with the Creative Director and Director of Web and Emerging Technologies, to assist in the creation and implementation of design projects for use on web and digital platforms, digital asset management, administrative tasks, and other daily tasks as assigned.
DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

Under the direction of a project mentor, a successful candidate will conduct laboratory benchwork to execute, optimize, and troubleshoot downstream process unit operations and basic analytical techniques.
They will contribute to the development of new principles, concepts, and methods to enable process development, scale-up of processes to pilot scale, and technology transfer to manufacturing scale. Design, execute, and analyze process development experiments to maximize understanding of purification bioprocesses to make vaccine products and subsequently analyze, summarize, and present experimental results in a collaborative team environment. The candidate may also work on pilot-scale campaigns for the GMP manufacture of bulk clinical material. In this role, assignments could encompass aspects of campaign preparation, execution, and closeout of a GMP campaign.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the ability to convey the results of their work in both verbal and written formats. In addition to the core duties outlined above, the candidate will be expected to keep careful notes, comply with all required training, and maintain focused attention on laboratory safety for themselves and their team.

Provides daily interactions with physicians and clinical professionals regarding documentation clarification and optimization. It is expected that the CDIS have previous clinical skills, including an understanding of Anatomy and Physiology in order to appropriately discuss with the physician such issues as the underlying etiology, principal diagnosis, diagnostic studies, treatment modalities, to name a few. The essential focus of this position is to analyze the clinical information, using the documentation as the primary driver for overall System Case Mix Index.
Job Duties
Applicants must currently hold the required CDI certification in order to be considered for this position. Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP).
This is a work from home position. The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly; Dayshift; Monday through Friday.

Basic Qualifications
• Full-stack development
• Software development experience with Java or C#

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 - $164,450. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
