Milwaukee Valve Company is looking for a 2nd Shift Electrical Mechanical Technician 1 to join our Prairie Du Sac, WI team in Department 270. This position has a starting hourly wage of $25.35 plus a 4.5% shift premium.

Summary - Under the direction of the Director of Manufacturing Services, the Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the following:
• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes, including but not limited to, robotics, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify automation solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Summary: As CNC Programmer the primary responsibilities will be the creation of CNC programs through the use of CAD/CAM software, general editors or manual entry of code on a controller. These programs run on a variety machine types, styles and controllers and have varying complexity. * This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus. The first half ($1,000) is payable after successful completion of the orientation period and the second half ($1,000) is payable after one year of employment. *
The regularly scheduled hours for this position are 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may become a possibility or even required. When working overtime, the regularly scheduled shift is adjusted by 1-2 hours at either the beginning or end of the regularly scheduled shift. Overtime may also be requested or mandatory on Saturday as well.

Summary: The CNC Set up II primary responsibilities will be to perform machine set up and machine operation of various CNC machines as needed. Such machines include HMC, VMC, HTL, VTL, Swiss Screw, Multi-Axis lathes, Transfer machines, Robots, etc.; they will possess the skills and abilities to carry out those responsibilities on primary assigned machines with no assistance and other machines with some assistance.
The CNC Set up II will have the ability to determine work holding, tool selection and the capability to edit programs when needed. The individual will assist with the mentoring of others in machining and also have good organizational, math, communication, and computer skills. Other duties may be assigned.

The starting wage for this position is $26.06 per hour, plus a 3.5% shift differential. This position is responsible for operating assembly machines to produce various size and types of valves, using tools and fixtures. Also, occasionally material handling and stocking of components at machine being operated.
The regularly scheduled hours for this position are 3:00PM-12:00PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may become a possibility or even required. When working overtime, the regularly scheduled shift is adjusted by 1-2 hours at either the beginning or end of the regularly scheduled shift.

Summary - Required to perform set up, instruct method of operation, maintain, troubleshoot, service all types of assembly and testing in assigned area. Must be capable of locating tools, fixtures and other devices necessary for the assembly and testing of product in assigned area.

Summary - The Floater Trainee will be utilized in all production areas of the foundry department as needed. The Foundry Floater Trainee will be assigned to fill in when absences occur such as vacations or illnesses and must be able to step in to the position without any interruptions.

As a Coresetter position the Floater I will be responsible for proper placement of various
size cores into the proper molds as they pass on the conveyor.

As a Coremaker, the Floater Trainee will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, counting, and boxing the various cores as instructed by supervisor.
In the Melt department, the Floater Trainee will be responsible for physically loading the induction furnaces, maintaining charts as to metal types and number of heats per shift. Also, transfer metal to auto-pour, control melt, and pour molds.
The Floater Trainee will follow all quality and safety standards.

Established in 1901, Milwaukee Valve manufactures valves for a variety of industries including Industrial, Commercial, Fire Protection, Marine and the dry bulk hauling industries. Our products have been installed on every U.S. Navy ship built for the last 60+ years.

Summary - As directed by the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor or designee, the Facilities Engineer duties and responsibilities include:
Reading and analyzing blueprints, drawings, as well as rough sketches.
Maintains and updates the plant layout as required.
Improving the facilities operations by designing facilities infrastructure.
Preparing detailed facilities reports and compliance documentation.
Analyze the impact of safety and environmental compliance on proposed projects.
Maintain a thorough understanding of air wastewater, hazardous waste, and related laws/regulations.
Using mathematical techniques and CAD modeling to assess or forecast past, present, and future environmental problems.
Analyzing project costs and preparing budgets.
Maintain technical competency and remain current in technology and changes in the industry.
Assists M.E. with design, implementation and troubleshooting of tooling, manufacturing processes and equipment.
Maintains project management, including using project management software and M.E. requests to track progress and help highlight upcoming targets for M.E. Group.

Education and/or Experience - Requires a bachelor's degree in a job-related field and one to two years of related on the job experience.
