Job Description
Milwaukee Valve Company is looking for a 1st Shift Machining Coordinator/Relief Supervisor to join our Prairie Du Sac, WI team in Department 055. The hourly pay rate for this position is $35.51, plus an additional 4.5% shift premium.
All offers of employment by Milwaukee Valve Company, LLC. are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, blood test, physical capabilities test, and background check, all with acceptable results. Applicants are responsible scheduling and completing the required drug screen, blood test, and physical capabilities test within 7 calendar days of offer acceptance.

Summary: The Machining Relief Supervisors primary responsibilities will be to perform various duties including, but not limited to: assist on-duty shift supervisor with meeting daily production requirements, help assess and assign the day’s work and labor appropriately, special projects, planning, training, occasionally working with outside vendors, and provide coverage for Shift Supervisor on an as needed basis. This position will monitor work activities, coach, instruct and assist personnel with meeting daily requirements such as: machine set up, machine operations, trouble shooting, etc...
The Machining Relief Supervisor will be required to perform machine set up and machine operation as needed, they will possess the skills and abilities to carry out those tasks unassisted. The individual will have good organizational, math, communication and computer skills.
While providing relief for the Shift Supervisor when the Supervisor and Manager are not available, they will maintain safe operations, ensure proper staffing requirements, and prioritize daily activities to ensure timely shipment of quality products to meet customers’ requirements.

Summary The Floater Trainee will be trained in all production areas of the foundry department. The Floaters will be assigned their duties on a daily basis as needed in the various departments (Coreroom, Cleaning, Coresetting, Melt and Molding).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the following.
As a Coresetter, the Floater Trainee will be responsible for learning proper placement of various size cores into the proper molds as they pass on the conveyor. Have the ability to mount patterns. Learn the paperwork and data entry associated with the position.
As a Molder, the Floater Trainee will be expected to learn all the responsibilities expected from that position, including but not limited to: locating correct patterns, prep patterns for molding line, perform quality checks, set cores, prepare mold surfaces for pouring, shakeout and accurately filling out the department's paperwork.
As a Grinder, the Floater Trainee is responsible for learning grinding of rough castings, operating trim presses, and sorting the various castings into the proper bins.
As a Coremaker, the Floater Trainee will be responsible for learning the cleaning, inspecting, counting and boxing the various cores as instructed by supervisor.
In the Melt department, the Floater Trainee will be responsible to learn how to physically load the induction furnaces, fill out dept. paperwork, maintain charts as to metal types and number of heats per shift. Also, transfer metal to auto-pour, operate furnaces, and pour molds.
Will need to start the training progression for obtaining a forklift license.
The Floater Trainee will follow all quality and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness of work are in prescribed manner.

This position is responsible for operating assembly machines to produce various size and types of valves, using tools and fixtures. Also, occasionally material handling and stocking of components at machine being operated.
The regularly scheduled hours for this position are 7:00AM-4:00PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may become a possibility or even required. When working overtime, the regularly scheduled shift is adjusted by 1-2 hours at either the beginning or end of the regularly scheduled shift. Please note, this department has been working the schedule of 6:30AM - 4:00PM, Monday through Friday, for an undetermined amount of time. While there is no guarantee how long this overtime schedule will continue, it is expected of this role indefinitely.

Summary - The Project Coordinator will be responsible for leading product development project teams that are responsible for introducing new products for release as well as major updates to existing products. Summary: Truck Driver III’s primary duty is to make scheduled pick-ups and deliveries and safely transport material between the Prairie du Sac and New Berlin locations in a timely fashion. Makes miscellaneous unscheduled deliveries or pick-ups as requested. Due to the nature of our business, materials also need to be transported to and from various business partners. A normal route consists of 250 miles per day, but has the possibility of up to 400 miles with multiple stops. Loads and unloads company truck and distributes packages throughout the facilities.

Summary - Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor directs all maintenance personnel in the PDS Facility. Will assume the duties of the Maintenance Manager in his absence as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Review work orders and ensure that all work schedules are met.
Organizes and assigns work.
Supervises skilled and semi-skilled employees performing major repairs and preventive
maintenance to buildings and equipment and grounds.
Anticipates maintenance and personnel problems and resolves problems to minimize their effects on production.
