Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is one of the largest, most vibrant two-year schools in the state. Students at MCTC may get a diploma or certificate or earn an associate's degree in more than 130 areas of study. MCTC's academic divisions include: * Aviation * Business * Fine Arts * Health * Information Technology * Liberal Arts * Manufacturing * Math * Media Arts In addition, MCTC offers continuing education courses, classes for senior citizens and online and weekend courses. College life offerings are equally diverse and numerous. Students may participate in community service activities, and join academic, fine arts and special interest clubs. MCTC also provides a range of services to its students, including career, academic and personal counseling and tutoring. MCTC also participates in TRIO, a program that offers additional support to low-income and first-generation college students. Financial aid offerings are wide-ranging, as well. Students may obtain various merit scholarships or apply for loans, grants or work-study money. To apply for most types of aid, applicants will need to fill out a FAFSA.
