THE POSITION AND THE DEPARTMENT
This position exists to provide confidential executive level administrative support and assistance to the members of the Administrative Suite including the Chief of Staff, Provost, and Vice President of Advancement and to run the office of President. Responsibilities include aiding in university-wide communications, event support, purchasing and contract support, and project management for college-wide initiatives. Additionally, this position also serves as a back-up to the Executive Assistant to the President and assists other cabinet members as warranted or directed by the Chief of Staff. The incumbent needs to possess a comprehensive understanding of institutional culture, shared governance, procedures, and policies, with the capacity to navigate complex scenarios and develop solutions autonomously.
This position maintains a high level of confidentiality, and exercises discretion when responding to inquiries. This person needs to have excellent inter-personal skills as well as exceptional organizational skills. Knowledge of computer skills is critical, and a good working knowledge of general office software and equipment is required.
This position will actively advance the college's strategic goals, including to achieve equity in educational outcomes and to support a culturally responsive and service-oriented culture, through individual and departmental efforts.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
* Two years' experience providing administrative support in a higher education setting or to senior-level leaders. An associate's degree may substitute for 6 months of experience.
* Skills in word processing, spreadsheets such as Microsoft Office Suite products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., sufficient to schedule, compose, create, modify, and save calendars, memos, letters, documents, reports, charts, graphics, presentations, etc.
* Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner internally and with external partners, read, write, prepare, and edit materials, using correct and error-free spelling, punctuation, grammar, and typing.
* Administrative, secretarial, and clerical skills sufficient to apply principles and practices of office management in planning, organizing, and reviewing work and/or information.
* Customer service/human relations skills sufficient to interact with diverse audiences in a professional, respectful, and efficient manner.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks / projects simultaneously with a level of confidentiality.
Preferred:
* Experience in SharePoint or Workday software programs
* Experience providing administrative support to multiple executives with competing priorities simultaneously
* Project coordination or management experience
* Experience with institutional governance or policy tracking
* Experience in a professional, customer service-related role

Job Description:
The Dean of the College of Sciences (COS) is charged to provide the leadership to meet the strategic needs of the university, students, COS faculty and staff, and our community partners. Specific responsibilities of the position include strategic planning for the college in alignment with the university strategic plan, recruitment and selection of faculty and staff, building and fostering cooperative relationships, and managing the finances and budget of the College, program evaluation and development, community outreach, and fund raising. Job Description
The Community Engagement Specialist develops, coordinates and implements the university's civic engagement programming, including the state required voter engagement plan and the Metro State Votes initiative. The Specialist also provides key support for the Model Legislature program by recruiting student participants from high schools, community-based organizations' youth programs and community colleges. Helps develop and disseminate materials to support student preparation for the Model Legislature simulation. The specialist provides support to all community engagement initiatives and programs and participates actively in department-wide projects and initiatives as needed.

Description of College/School/Unit: The School of Urban Education and its Urban Teacher Program has a rich history of nearly 25 years. We offer nine undergraduate and seven graduate programs, and have approximately 400 students enrolled in these programs who bring a wealth of personal and professional experiences to their studies as post-traditional learners. The School is the most racially and ethnically diverse teacher preparation unit in Minnesota with two-thirds of all teacher candidates being from BIPOC communities as well as a majority 11 full-time faculty and staff. ABOUT THE POSITION
The Inclusive Higher Education Program (IHE) Coordinator provides strategic leadership, development and coordination of the IHE Grant, a program for students with intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) to obtain a college credential at Normandale Community College. The IHE Coordinator will work collaboratively across the college and with a work group to develop, implement and sustain the program, including developing and getting approvals for the academic programs, developing a process for recruiting and admitting eligible students, and identifying necessary quality processes, services and supports for its students', admission, onboarding, integration, and success. The Coordinator will utilize and fulfill all requirements of the initial Office of Higher Education (OHE) Inclusive Higher Education Grant funding. The Coordinator will work with college leaders to develop a plan for sustainability to include differential tuition, fees, and additional grant funding. This position is supported with a one-year grant, which has the potential to be renewed on an annual basis for up to nine additional years.
This position will actively advance the college's strategic goals, including achieving equity in educational outcomes and supporting a culturally responsive and service-oriented culture, through individual and departmental efforts.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL: These qualifications are required to move forward; as such, (ensure your application contains descriptions of your education and work experience sufficient to demonstrate competency in each of the following):
* Two (2) years of relevant work experience in a related field such as rehabilitation counseling, education, disability studies, higher education, psychology, human services, or social work. A bachelor's degree may substitute for one (1) year of professional experience, and an associate's degree may substitute for six (6) months.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics currently offers programs in Mathematics, Industrial & Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Teaching, and Data Science, and is launching a program in Industrial Engineering starting in Fall Semester 2026. Students in our programs gain the analytic skills needed to study and solve a wide range of problems. They also develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills that are useful in a wide range of careers in science, technology, engineering, business, actuarial science, and education. In a typical academic year, the faculty member will teach five courses, split between two semesters. In addition, the faculty member will engage in scholarship, advising, and service.

Job Description
The Registrar supervises all functions and daily operations of the Office of Records and Registration. This includes records and registration policy and procedure development, business practice management, implementation of registration, monitoring and documentation of graduation requirements, oversight of transfer, oversight of veterans benefits administration, supervision of degree auditing systems and grade entry, and supervision and maintenance of the student information system. Minimum Qualifications
* Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a registrar's office or related office within higher education. Bachelor's degree can substitute for 12 months of applicable professional experience.
* Strong understanding of higher education practices related to registrar functions, including FERPA and other relevant federal and state policies

The admissions specialist provides administrative and clerical support to the Admission and Student Affairs efforts at Inver Hills Community College and Dakota County Technical College. Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to assist and tutor students in a lab setting to complete their educational requirements by providing the knowledge, skills, and assessments essential to obtain a credential in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) field (EMR, EMT, and Paramedic). Additionally, the incumbent will operate virtual and physical equipment and software to assist faculty in running scenario-based learning and assessments.
Position Responsibilities
* Assist and tutor students in essential emergency skills aligned with EMS discipline standards. This will be done by facilitating proper techniques; helping students to understand the concepts; helping students to interpret results; assisting students in write-up of Emergency Skills Techniques; and operating simulation software, programs, and/or equipment.
* Maintain supply inventories. Control of emergency skills equipment and supplies by supervising the set-up of the emergency skills lab; prepping the materials, supplies and equipment needed; and maintaining standardization of said materials, supplies, and equipment.
* Deliver scenarios on state-of-the-art simulation equipment. Coordinate emergency skills procedures by testing course learning outcomes and assisting with testing of emergency skills/course set-up; supervising students during testing; checking results and recording scores.
* Service and maintain emergency skills equipment by checking operations; replacing used or broken equipment; and keeping inventory, stocking, and ordering of equipment as needed.
* Maintain emergency skills records by checking worksheets and recording grades. Will record test scores as requested.
Salary Range:
$21.89 - $30.58/hour
(DOQ - Salary Placement will be done at time of hire.)
The shift differential for employees working before 6:00 A.M. or after 6:00 P.M. shall be two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) per hour for all hours worked before 6:00 A.M. or after 6:00 P.M.

Job Description:

This is a full-time, exempt position within Counseling Services in the Student Success Division.
The position will provide mental health services to Metropolitan State University students, under general supervision by the Director. These services include but are not limited to: individual therapy, group therapy, consultation, trainee supervision, case consultation, programming, assessment, and crisis intervention. This position will develop and implement outreach programs and campus programs in collaboration with other departments. The position will participate in professional staff meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Salary Range:
$34.69 - $51.45 per hour depending upon qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Master's Degree required in social work, psychology, or closely related field from an accredited program.
* Current qualifications under MN Statutes 245.462 Subd. 17 & 18. (Mental Health Practitioner or Professional).
* Psychotherapy methods sufficient to provide effective treatment plan delivery.
* Professional experience and competence working with multicultural diversity.
* Individual and group therapy methods sufficient to meet the needs of student clients.
* Crisis intervention principles sufficient to be able to respond to clients and train others in crisis intervention.
Preferred Qualification:
* Experience providing supervision to clinical and foundational practicum students.
* Experience working in a university counseling center.
