Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the District approved curriculum to the needs of each pupil.

3. Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior to achieve an effective learning atmosphere.
4. Evaluates pupils' academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records in a timely fashion prepares progress reports.

6. Communicates regularly with parents outside normal classroom day by means of Schoology, newsletters, phone calls, e-mails, conferences, etc.
7. Works in a supportive and collaborative manner with colleagues and supervisors.
8. Maintains and improves professional skills by participating in building and department meetings, formal coursework, workshops, and seminars in an effort to stay current with best teaching practices.
9. Participates in a professional learning community on a regular basis.
10. Integration of technology into instruction.
11. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Current principal licensure in the state of Minnesota
Evidence of successful teaching experience, with supervisory or coordinating experience preferred.

Deep understanding of project-based learning/experiential learning and high quality instruction
Evidence of leading large scale projects with a track record of success.

Assignment:
Summer childcare and recreation and enrichment programs are in session at both Groveland Elementary and Scenic Heights Elementary from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM from June 11-August 22, 2025.Part time or full time shifts available. This position reports to the Explorers Program Manager.
Starting Pay Rate:
$18.00

Job Qualifications:
Must be able to pass DHS background study and fingerprinting.
Must complete Explorers required trainings, including Health & Safety, CPR, Child Development, and Mandated Reporting.
Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
Evidence of outgoing, friendly personality.
Strong ability to work independently with little supervision.
Evidence of ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Job Duties:
Meets, greets and provides information and directions to persons in buildings so that people arrive at the scheduled location.
Ensures quality customer service for our user groups and proper use of space. Responds to any emergencies that may arise (weather incidents, fire, intruder, etc) and follow up with appropriate building leadership communication.
Unlocks & locks rooms for Community Ed usage
Assists with technology use if needed.
Assists with class lists, handouts, and other necessary materials to instructors.
Visually checks each area in use before and after activity to ensure its order for the next day.
Assists in preparation and organization of field trip paperwork
Maintains a positive rapport with students, staff, administration and the public
All other duties as assigned including activity preparation

Program Information:
This position will work with students district wide and their families, servicing students in General and Special Education settings within Northpoint Elementary School, Early Childhood thorugh 4th grade students.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will provide excellent instruction and case management skills to students with speech/language and other types of disabilities. This includes:
Provide direct service in articulation, stuttering, and language under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Develop lesson plans for providing service
Prepare progress reports and day-to-day documentation for student service
Draft present levels of performance for review by SLP
Draft skill ideas to work on for review by SLP
Prep materials and make visuals for speech services provided to students for SLP and SLPA as needed
Assist with Transitioning skills into general ed.
Assist with interventions set up by SLP

AAS Degree, or;
BS in Speech and Language Hearing Sciences with additional transcript credits and hours obtained within an SLPA program

Job Responsibilities:
Provide supervision of students and enforce school rules in the lunchroom, playground, or other designated locations in cooperation with other staff.
Guide students in the implementation of rules, routines and expectations for the playground and lunchroom.
Complete routine paperwork and perform record-keeping activities related to monitoring activities.
Assist with cleaning the lunchroom tables as needed.
Report any areas of concern regarding student behavior and equipment needs to the building principal.
