Managers that aren't trained as leaders, making for poor decisions or no decisions.

Pay was in line with companies in larger cities, so a bit higher than other options I saw in the area.

Getting a paycheck. The pension is nice but a golden handcuff.

I didn't prepare.

Most aren't leaders. They started in a role and got promoted because they could do that job, not because they could lead and manage well. Hire more externally and train your leaders to be able to make decisions and trust their teams.

Pay is fair, benefits are below average. I came from a small companies prior and had way better coverage for lower premiums. I am guessing because we have an older than average coworkers because people feel stuck here, their health problems impact prices more.

Purely absent. It's almost like managers choose not to add diversity of people and thought.

I used to feel like I had the ability to do my work and use my knowledge. That's absolutely gone now in recent years. It's frustrating to feel such lack of power and this organization is not keeping up with the industry.

Great pay and retirement benefits, and okay health benefits. Very good disability insurance. All in all, the benefits package is above average with the exception of the high deductable health care coverage.

Lots of favoritism, protectionism, age disgrimination and micromanagement.

I Believe that executive management is completely onboard with making Minnkota a great place to work well into the distant future. I know that reliablity and safety are top priorities.

I believe that while executive management is open to making improvements for the purpose of retaining employees, senior managment is def to the need or wants of the employees.

Compensation is equal to or better than local industry.

Due to the nature of the work and the location, we are not very diverse.

At one point, a sense of empowerment and respect made Minnkota a great place to work. That management was replaced with micromanagement.
