Administration of the Control of certificates of origin for clients and suppliers. Good understanding of Legal regulations for compliance and policy changes in US and other related overseas countries keep good communication and cooperation with related government departments of local country and DDP destination countries Responsible for customs and trading compliance and risk control for US region Responsible for the logistics costs control and reduce the abnormal expenses in US region; Database & Document: Manage and update the export-and-import ledger and logistics related base sheets etc. (including, but not limited to : HS code of imported products, import duty rate, supervision condition) Establish and optimize the process of import & export related customs and transportation QUALIFICATIONS Completed Bachelor's degree in International trade, International business, International logistics or At least 8 years working experience in overseas logistics, of which more than 2 years experience in the automotive part industry and must have customer order and delivery management, overseas transit warehouse management experience International Trade, Logistics, transportation, warehousing and Customs compliance knowledge Well known about procurement of the logistics(warehousing, transportation) and the LSP management, strong negotiation skills with suppliers Good understanding of logistics requirements from automotive industry customers, especially from USA/EU OEM, e.g. MMOG/LE International financial and tax knowledge Good skills in using ERP-SAP, Office software and other IT software (e.g. PPT, function) KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Good sense for systematic thinking and global thinking, be meticulous and considerate for work. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. What you'll do... · As a Fulfillment Operations Analyst you will have the immediate task of working with the Ascent and Pega tools. · Leverage your sense of urgency and responsiveness to plant needs to protect the daily and weekly schedules. Goal is to support existing operating plans and schedules without needing remix or incurring production losses. · Act as change agent needing to find efficiencies in current state operations to allow the new tools to expand our horizon for evaluating supply risks. · Empower your continuous improvement mindset to seek and mitigate premium costs. Find ways to improve processes to lessen the need for premium; find the most cost-efficient means to support established production schedules, and lead initiatives to reduce premium costs to the company in collaboration with our MP&L Logistics organization. · Provide communication and dimension of risk as needed to escalate to leadership as well as report on the issues with solutions and / or need for assistance. · Work cross-functionally with other internal teams including Purchasing, Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Supplier Operations Team (SOT), Product Development, and plants. · Manage critical suppliers and the accountability to Ford supplier expectations and Global Terms. You'll have... · A bachelor's degree · Prior experience in a manufacturing or supply chain organization · Knowledge of or experience in Ford with production planning and execution · A proven track record in supply chain operations (inbound flows / Packaging / outbound flows / diversity / demand & supply planning / in-plant logistic operations / warehouse management) · Well-versed with MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) · Bias for action in identifying and working to solve issues identified in the clear to build horizon.
