Administrative
Practice and implement all safe and clean initiatives as well as food temperature checks, holding times, equipment inspections, and food handling standards, as outlined in the Food Service Program operations manual, as well as OSHA regulations.
Determine ideal levels of ready to eat product to have on hand at all times including fountain beverages, pretzels, hot dogs, pre-made sandwiches, thaw and serve products, bakery items, and hot foods such as pizza and breakfast items. Control food service waste to achieve company's desired margins.
Maintain records as they relate to the food service area and assist in the maintenance of station records such as shift reports, daily sales reports, payroll, personnel information, as well as various station logs and audit maintenance.
Perform administrative duties necessary to insure effective operations.
Customer Service
Provide enthusiastic customer service to all customers and ensure staff does the same.
Assist associates in answering customer questions, handling customer complaints, providing assistance whenever possible and ensuring that all customers leave with a positive image of the C-Store location.
Inventory and Cash Control
Assist other members of the management team in the protection of company assets through monitoring of vendor deliveries, physical merchandise inventories, security procedures, and correct shift reporting.
P & L Sales Performance and Promotional Execution
Ensure proper ordering as outlined by the Store Manager. Determine ideal stock levels for the food service area. Ensure adequate product and supplies are on hand based on promotions outlined in the monthly promotional and merchandising calendar.
Stay up to date with competitive marketing conditions and advise supervisor through oral and written reports.
Training
Assist in the training of all food service associates, particularly in relation to (but not limited to) the food service area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - include and are not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES - include and are not limited to:
Deliver gasoline, oil, and propane products to customer base.
Follow route and time schedule that is provided by the Dispatcher on a daily basis.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle in accordance with company standards.
Provide services and interact with customers to ensure that we provide all of our customers with the best possible satisfaction.
Inform customers of new products and services.
Complete logs and reports according to company standards, policies and procedures.
Participate in any required job training and/or certifications and safety meetings.

Responsible to assist the Store Manager with day to day store operations.

Properly clean and maintain store equipment/products and areas including but not limited to coffee, fountain drinks, deli, customer seating areas, restrooms and shower stalls as needed and directed by Store Manager.
Inventory and Cash Controls
Accurately post store use of merchandise, coverings, voids, no sales, bottle refunds, physical counts, bad-merchandise write-offs, within established guidelines.
Ensure the Store Manager is made aware of all sales, cash, or operating discrepancies.
Follow company policy with regard to excessive cash in registers, change box, and safe security, as directed by company policy.
Count and verify the petty cash fund and all cigarettes and lottery tickets in accordance with company policy.
Adhere to company safe drops and procedures.
Assure proper sale and accounting for credit cards, lottery, and money order sales.
REQUIREMENTS- include and are not limited to:
Provide oneself with a reliable means of transportation to and from work and the ability to be reached by telephone.
Flexibility to accommodate sudden schedule changes and availability to be on call 24 hours a day if an emergency arises.
Frequently remain stationary for a long period of time.
Be able to position self to stock shelves and coolers, sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, move trash containers and place in an outside bin, clean the parking lot and grounds (including gas pumps) surrounding the location.
Have the means to clean windows around the store.
Be able to enter and work in a cooler wat temperature of 30 degrees up to 30 minutes at a time.
Be able to meet the physical demands, such as transporting and moving store products and equipment weighing up to 50lbs including shoveling snow when needed.
