* Use specialized vascular ultrasound equipment to evaluate blood flow, veins, and arteries
* Conduct procedures including abdominal vascular studies, lower extremity (L.E.) and upper extremity (U.E.) evaluations, venous Doppler exams, doppler ultrasounds, carotid assessments, and imaging for renal, pancreas, and liver transplants, as well as the Nielsen Cold Challenge and other specialized studies
* Perform other exams such as venous reflux studies, arterial duplex scanning, carotid duplex scanning, and transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasound
* Provide rapid imaging for acute conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or suspected arterial blockages

Responsibilities
Phlebotomy Technician I primarily perform skin puncture or venipuncture on patients of all ages for the purpose of obtaining a blood specimen for analysis in the clinical laboratory and is under the supervision of Laboratory Director / Manager / Supervisor. * Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, sterilizing equipment, and arranging necessary supplies such as surgical drapes, sponges, and gowns
* Ensure all equipment is functioning properly before the surgery begins, this may include surgical lights, suction machines, and monitoring devices
* Assist with preparing and draping the surgical site on the patient to maintain a sterile field, helping prevent infections
